Hi everyone!
My name is Kirsten, and I'm a DM from Australia! I've been listening to DMB for a while now (I'm working my way up from the very beginning, there's too much good stuff to skip anything!), and I have to say, it's changed my whole outlook on being a DM! When I first started as a DM, I felt frustrated and overwhelmed, putting a ton of pressure on myself and making it harder than it needed to be. But thanks to the incredible tips and tricks (and endless ideas) from the DMB I feel much more capable and organised now!
I'm currently working on writing a new campaign and expanding on the world I've created for my group, after a few of my old players had to leave for personal reasons. I'm hoping that I can get some inspiration from all the fantastic minds on these forums, and contribute some of my own ideas too!
Thanks!
Kirsten

Amazing first post! Always great to add another Blockhead to the ranks. I can't wait for you to the ideas on the forum your own, and to share yours so that we can take them too. I will let you know that the whole pressure on yourself thing probably won't change too much, as I still feel that way before every session, haha. However, I feel much more prepared to deal with that as time has gone on, and many ideas have been taken and folded into my DM style. P.S. Frequent guest Morgan Jenkins is from down under, so I have been a little bit enlightened to the magical future world you live in, haha.

Hey Kristen, welcome to the collective. Take all the inspiration you need, because unlike thermodynamics, the more you take the more is produced. Or something like that. I don't know really, I should be in bed right now but I am not and instead I am trying to make complete sentences and thoughts but am failing at that seeing as this entire thing has just been one run on sentence hasn't it? Aaaanyways, welcome *slam*zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Thanks guys! I already feel really welcome! I am hoping in future (once I've caught up all the episodes) to contribute to the DM-nastics! Listening to them all has been super helpful already, and I find myself replying with ideas of my own to old old episodes! haha Eventually I would like to get some feedback from all you amazing DMs on my own homebrew world and campaign, as I have been a bit unsure about how well it will work and whether or not it will interest my players enough for them to pursue (I don't want to railroad them at all, so I'd like my story to be compelling enough that they drive themselves along it!) Thanks again! Kirsten
