Hey everyone I just wanted to pick your brains if I may. To start I need to say that I am playing in the Pathfinder system. My party in one of the campaigns that I run, has recently (last night) leveled up to level eight (this came as a bit of a surprise because we had not been checking how much experience until the next level for a while and leveled up twice this last session). The problem being that one of them is a cleric to a home-brew god with a home-brew domain (prophecy), and I did not think far enough out to prepare the second domain ability. I have all of the domain spells and the first domain ability (Foresaw it coming, it is a retroactive bonus to some rolls, times per level type thing) but I am having trouble thinking of something that is of a similar power level to the other domains. So I was wondering if any of you might have any ideas.

One of my concerns is that most of the domain abilities focus on combat, but I would like the prophecy domain to be more role-play heavy and combat light.

WTF, it looks like nearly all Cleric Domain's 8th lvl ability is Divine Strike. Huh, looks like they really tried to pad out the Cleric's damage. As for what YOU could do, what about a free casting of Divination per Long Rest? Or a number of castings equal to your Wis mod of that other weaker version of that spell that tells you if the next action you take will be negative, positive, or neutral or whatever.

I like the free Divination spell, I had toyed with the Augury (the weaker one) spell but felt it was not up to the power level that the others were.
