Hi there,
Figured I should go about introducing myself on this board - have been lurking a lot, but I'd like to get more involved =)
I live in Belgium where I work as a researcher studying genetics with the fruit fly as a model organism (thus the avatar).
I've been DM'ing 5e since February. Prior to that I've always been keenly interested in D&D, but haven't had the time or the common interest among friends to get a group together. Nowadays we try to play once a week - we are midway through Hoard of the Dragon Queen and have already done the adventure in the Starter Set. I let a lot of off-script things happen in the adventure (mainly because one player has a habit of googling characters when he's too curious) some of which have led to terrible consequences but most of which have led to some pretty awesome moments.
Looking forward to learning a lot from seasoned DMs on this board and discussing anything DMB or D&D related =)
