EFF STANNIS indeed. Also, the final scene of the episode was surprisingly low quality imo. After having an episode with the white walkers that was so well done, and a scene with a fighting dragon just before it was particularly jarring to see the quality of that very last scene. Still a great episode, but i wonder if this season will follow the same as others and Ep 10 isn't as action packed?

I think they probably just blew their entire CGI budget in 'Hardhome'

I thought Drogon in the pit was stellar. It was when she took off on his back that looked like "Neverending Story".

Since the show is caught up with the books, there's no more reason for spoiler tags. It's all speculation at this point.
I think Melisandre is gonna rez ol' Jon Snow. I think he has to technically die for his vows to the Nights Watch to be fulfilled. So when he's rezzed, he's now free and able to leave the Wall (if he chooses), and do anything he wants.

Agreed, and the book won't be out for a decent amount of time. I also agree that Melisandre is the most likely scenario in terms of why Jon Snow comes back. I think the craziest thing would be if he didn't, but I just can't envision that that would happen.

They set up Jon's parentage way too much this season to simply kill the character off for good.

The book makes it pretty clear to me that Jon's warg-y-ness transitions him into Ghost. The show's barely shown wargs at all though, and the Dire Wolves are much less prominent. The more I think about it the more I'm not so sure that that's the way the show will go.

That book starts with the wildling warg dieing and going into one of his wolves, and then continues to mention that transition here and there throughout the book. The wildling warg doesn't seem to really do much after he dies, plot-wise, so the only reason I can think of to include all that exposition is to set up Jon's warg-y death. I could very certainly be wrong, but it the pieces all seem to fit to me.

We just caught up to this last season and let me tell you what....I can't wait to see if Snow comes back and just starts dealin' out some justice to the turds that stabbed him. My wife was cracking up at how livid I was when they all started stabbing him.

I feel like there is literally no way they can't bring him back and with how many ways they could do so it's more of how and when not if.
