I have written a fantastic creature generator for personal use. It generates descriptions of different species and races and their way of living. It can be used to populate any fantastic world or to take some inspirations from. I think this is especially good for those who are stuck with the cliche races and want some inspirations to break free of those cliches. The user can add more elements to it to increase the possible combinations. Almost all of the existing elements can be removed so the user can tweak the used elements to suit their own needs. I am sharing it here for those who would like to use it. Feel free to share it in any other platform you want but don't forget to provide a link to here, in case I upload another version. You need Winrar to extract it and JAVA to run it but these days every pc has them. Just extract it and run "Fantastic Being Generator.jar". I've also included a read me file, just in case. You can download the latest version here if you want to try it: v0.91 drive.google.com/open?id=0Bwt_JCpZGA1zbS0yREs1Q0tYLU0The site: fantasticbeinggenerator.skynova.io/index.htmlIt is designed and tested for Windows but I've been told it also works in Linux. It would probably work in Mac too. Old Versions: V 0.902: www.mediafire.com/file/7rli1g4j5j1dri8/Fantasic_Being_Generator_v902.rarV 0.903: drive.google.com/open?id=0Bwt_JCpZGA1zZ0k4aG05alIwUGMv.0.91 beta : drive.google.com/open?id=0Bwt_JCpZGA1zeHhQbGJ6MFFKR0E

This looks like an amazing tool Vrock. I love the ability to change, add, and remove things in the generator's library. Especially since it looks so easy to do. Great job

I agree! Tons of fun, and great inspiration to start building out a world, or a savior if your players zig when you thought that they would zag.

I wanted to make a quick release before I start adding a new feature to the program. In 0.903 I fixed many bugs and errors and added a feature. Now, in the elements window there is a paste helper button. You can use it to easily copy paste someone else's elements. What it does is, it checks for any matches so you will not be duplicating any elements. This way, you can just copy paste your friend's entire list without having to worry about duplicates.
Some one has written a list of colours, so I've used the paste helper the expand the default colour list. If you replace the data folder with your older data folder, consider using paste helper to quickly add new colours.
I've also realized that program doesn't use handicaps category. So I've hidden it. I am keeping it in case I want to use it later but you will not be able to see it or add anything to it in this version. The program already creates handicaps through other categories so I don't think I will be implementing the usage of handicaps category but who knows. In the next version the program will have the ability to allow the user to see it if he/she wants. But there is no point in worrying about it since it was not used and will not be used for a long time.

I'M working on the new version(0.95) that will have at least one more category and some more features of the program. But I have released a more bug-free version of the 0.91. Feel free to comment or report anything.
