I wanted to ask if anyone has had their players run armies of a sort. Has any player actually spent their loot on hiring a small army for a particularly harrowing encounter? If so, let me know how it went!
I've been a long time warhammer fan, so I'm no stranger to fielding a ton of models, and I've been wondering if there are players out there that would actually enjoy being a leader of a regiment or something similar.
I've got a few ideas about the topic, but let's hear what you fellow gamers have to say about this topic!

I remember bringing this up earlier in a past post: here . I absolutely love the idea. I wanted to implement the Warhammer Ruleset into Dungeons and Dragons, so that one could have "the best of both worlds". The only difficulty I see is finding the right group. A group who wants to spend 4 hours (if your lucky) playing Warhammer and then switching to roleplaying. It would probably be a really memorable battle and would be awesome to implement. I hope that one of these days I could get around to trying that. The basic idea I had was literally adopting the Warhammer rules, just changing a few things here and there. The battle could be a beginning of the game type of event and the rest of the game would be roleplaying. This was the basic idea I had, but to be constantly fielding that many miniatures would be cool as well.
