A little over half a year ago, I made this world. I originally had some low-quality representations done in roll20 using shapes, but that eventually did not satisfy my obsession. Drawing this thing out was fun, especially since the map came after the first few adventures. Every mountain, river and forest was hand-drawn in photoshop, which ended up taking a very long time.
Andarin. That name has quite the ring to it.
(Oh yeah, the map is obviously not fully populated yet. . . I'll get back to it when I have to.)
Here's some of the notable regions in my world:
1. To the Far North are the ever frozen tundras and mountainous lands, inhabited by barbarians. Each of the barbarian tribes are "gifted" with lycanthropy.
2. North of the Great Navelon River (North of Brookmoor) are the Northern Woods, home of the elves.
3. The Holy Empire controls everything south of Brookmoor and north of Kurn Badur, lead by an angelic God King. In earlier renditions, there is a great wall constructed by both human and dwarven hands that stretch between Kurn Badur to the mountain ranges towards the northwest.
4. South of Kurn Badur lies the great Dwarven states. Nestled within a ring of mountains is their impenetrable capital fortress - Kurn Kolm.
5. To the west are vast swathes of deserts, where nomadic goblinoids, orcs and other unsavory creatures dwell. They occasionally invade their neighbors for resources.
6. Far to the southern tip of the continent are the untamed jungles and rain forests (which are nameless, for now)
7. The island country of Luskan (this is what happens when you let a player name a country, they just take it straight from the books -_-) sits off of the eastern coast of the Holy Empire, boasting the strongest economic and naval prowess in the known world.
