Love me some githyanki and githzerai! Well done, guys. I have some resources that may be of interest; please excuse the shameless plug. I converted the both gith into playable 5e races over on Tribality, including class archetypes for a paladin blackguard (githyanki) and a Way of Zerthimon monk (githzerai). tribality.com/2015/03/02/richs-gameroom-the-infamous-gith-bonus-the-way-of-zerthimon/That article includes some great links to articles and websites, as well as my FAVORITE Dragon/Dungeon campaign outline called Incursion. That is a must-have if you want to put gith in your campaign. For those who are patrons of my Patreon, you can find PDFs of a ranger archetype based on the old Sword Stalker prestige class, and a 10'ish page conversion of Vlaakith the Lich Queen and her artifacts, including spell breakdowns, tactics, and more. Some high-level githyanki villains are coming soon as well. www.patreon.com/richhoward

Okay, related to one of the story ideas for the Gith'.
My last character I played hated Elves of all kinds, to make this even worse the town that he lived was heavily racist against non-humans so there was a ton of propaganda against 'the heathen races', on one of my character's first missions (he was in the army) he (and the group of other PCs) was sent to investigate recent Drow sightings and plug any holes they were coming out of, and by plug I mean with explosives. So we found the hole, and went down in a little ways to try and get the most bang for our buck (pun intended), we fought a few Drow as we entered so we knew we were going in the right direction after the fight we continued down the tunnel which was getting more heavily booby-trapped, we had another battle with a few more Drow outside a large door (with a group of flame throwing statues), being the sneakest member of the group I was sent to listen at the door to see if this was a good place to plant the explosives "You hear the sounds of small children playing, it sounds like there could be quite a few behind the door" the DM said (paraphrased) I went back to the group "What's behind the door? Is there Drow?" the squad leader asked me "This is the door, There are Drow behind it, I think we should plant the explosives here" I responded with, the DM didn't call for a bluff check because I told no lie, we planted the explosives and set them off. During the explostiopn the DM called for a perception check to see if if we noticed anything during the explosion, The paladin succeeded, she was told that among the boom from the explosion she also heard the screams of children, when the explosion had passed she pinned me to the wall and shouted in my face about how it wasn't right to be killing children even if they were the enemy, I responded with a cold-hearted "We came to blow up the Drow, and that's what we did, it's time to go home."
In a much later session we were asked by the Drow queen if we knew anything about the group of people who had done it and we managed to (bluff) pin it on a former (but still alive) team member.
