Like the description for the says "A place to kick it Old School. A board to discuss 1st edition, 2nd edition, retroclones, simulacrums, old school-evocatives, and anything else you think fits into the term Old School Renaissance." I think using the OSR term helps to allow everyone in and now we can see what crazy cool ideas dmonic has to share!

Perfect! Thanks for merging these!
Crazy Cool Ideas? Maybe just Crazy ideas - I'm really not sure if they're cool.
P.S. Every time I hear your name on the Podcast it sounds like "Joe Pontiac" - If that's you.

2e and before is all I ever played. Everything since the launch of the Core Rules CDRom is new to me. I don't think that I will ever run a 5e game solely based on the cost of the basic books. Since I have almost every resource book for 2e, I figure that I can run that in a homebrew world of my own and add anything I want from all editions that I find online. Anyway, great podcast!!! It definitely makes me think of more ideas to add to any campaign, if I ever get a chance to play again.

Update from last post; my oldest son and his girlfriend surprised me with the 5e DMG and PHB last week. Now I guess that I no longer have an excuse not to learn it.

Can't argue with that right there! Excited to hear your thoughts as you read through, and learn more about 5e.
