I noticed there isn't one, Is that intentional or has there just not been any interest in it? I know I'd like to talk about AD&D 1st/2nd ed ideas, since I like that old-school feel!

2nd edition was a golden age of campaign settings IMO. I'll rhapsodize all day about the virtues of 2e Planescape, Dark Sun and Al Qadim.

I will totally make that this afternoon. We have jipped you all on so many levels... Hey, thanks! I see em! IMO I think we could probably just have an "Oldschool" sub for them that encompasses AD&D 1st and 2nd (They're not that different, 2nd is mostly just a sanitized version of 1st that implements a lot of popular house rules, but others may disagree), I dont know if there will be enough content to make both worth while, but then, I guess it doesn't matter if we have both. I'll just know to look at both for ideas that are mostly compatible for my "1.5e" game (I use some stuff from 2e)

I've always wanted to try AD&D 2nd edition. Been a little cautious due to the amount of rules behind it (and I am terrible with rules).

I got my start with 2nd edition, myself. I loved it back then, but I'm content to let nostalgia constitute the better part of my knowledge on the system. I think if I actually revisited it now, I would be baffled how I managed to get through a single session.
That said, I think friartook's remark still holds. 2e had excellent content that's worth examining for ideas (if not for actual game play, in my case). One of my favorite RPG books of all time was "On Hallowed Ground," a Planescape campaign setting book that provided a detailed look at the numerous deities in the D&D multiverse. I haven't looked at it since I was a teenager, but I credit it with inspiring my world building today.
