This might be my favorite episode so far, have no intention of ever playing MTG but my goodness there are some amazing ideas in this sode. If you go out and get a pack be sure you post your campaign ideas here. Also I will try and give the episode a re-listen and type up a quick list of the 30 top tens, I wrote some of them down during my first listen, but not all. I think it would be a good resource to look at for quick ideas. Also I got to thinking MTG isn't the only place to get inspiration like this. Pokemon could be used for homebrew monsters, yu-gi-o should be used in the same way with monster or traps. Also there is a category of subreddits with great art work that could be used as well. I linked them below and would like to bring special attention to Imaginary Artifacts, this subreddit has a tabs bar underneath its main banner which has even more Imaginary subreddit, and they are divided into types, you can look at races, architecture, nature, and more and under the characters tab you can even look at filtered option like just archers, or just ninja etc. A great resources when wanting to style or design an NPC, Baddie or PC. So check those out as they are free alternatives to buying an MTG booster pack.

This image instantly makes me think that this knight went out to capture the beast at request of the king, the beast as they refer to him was not evil, but his forest home is being cut down by the kings lumberjacks, and he killed them to defend his home. So your players would have to choose between freeing him or letting him be dealt with.
Lots of great places out there for inspiration.
Also on the podcast CritJuice episodes 6-8 have the party traveling to a town that has been consumed by a 1000x1000x1000 foot gelatinous cube. If you are serious about running an adventure like that check out those 3 episodes, they might give you some fun ideas for how to have the group navigate that kind of terrain!!
