So im thinking about starting my campaign in a city during a festival to celebrate the change of the seasons. Thats about all I had but I was looking for games and activities along with a name for the festival and the obstacle course/collosium fight that is the main attraction. Any ideas?

Well we have the cliched harvest festival in autumn. I guess games could be varied between log tossing, halfling punting, apple picking, etc.
BUT! Can also be interesting to take a festival for the passing of spring where one of the competitions is a battle to see who could plow the most fields (by fastening the plow usualy fastened on horses to the competitors, you can see where this is going.)

There was a discussion on the forums at one point about something similar to this and I had posted several events related to the changing of the seasons. I know the Dex based one I came up with was how quickly you could take leaves off and/or put them onto a fake tree. Hopefully someone remembers that thread and links it, as I couldn't find it myself, haha.
