Well the noggle is out of the hold, and you now likely know that Story Time is out on its own as well, and if not then I just told you and you should go check it out! That said I am interested in what the Block Party would prefer in terms of the back catalog for DM-Nastics and Story Time being uploaded into the stream? I can either start pulling them out from the beginning and working towards now, OR I can work backwards from the newest ones. Let me know in the poll and I will get to gettin on that very thing!
All this said I have no idea what we as a super awesome and all kinds of amazing community want to do with the new break out in terms of posts in the Episode Breakdown section. Of course making a thread for each one is completely fine, or one for all of the week's episodes works too, but it will be interesting to see nonetheless!
So vote in the poll and let me know which method for the backlog would be preferred!

Of course making a thread for each one is completely fine, or one for all of the week's episodes works too, but it will be interesting to see nonetheless! So vote in the poll and let me know which method for the backlog would be preferred! To your first point: Is this necessary? If the option was available, I'd vote to leave the old episodes as is, and let the new paradigm reign moving forward. I was fine with how the podcast was. There are three advantages I see to having the content split out: shorter run times for the 'cast, more frequent episode drops in my podcast feed, and having Storytime separated out will allow Chris and Mitch's players to avoid the DM discussion if they want (I'd want to avoid it, I HATE spoilers, even minor ones). In short: I'd vote to leave the old episodes alone. I notice you don't have many other votes. Perhaps abstinence from this poll shows that other's don't think its a big deal either? I would very much prefer you all put your time and efforts into creating new content, rather than editing old content. To your second point: Let it happen organically. I find that the Breakdown for each new episode tends to get started by someone who has something to say about that episode. DM Nastics has its own forum for that discussion (if needed/desired). If y'all want, you could add a new forum for Storytime. But again, I don't think its necessary. Just let it happen organically. For the record: I like having the three segments separated and release on different days. Spreads out the content in the week for me.

So, I actually just finished listening to this episode. DM Chris: Keeping a journal for you character; SO COOL! What a great idea and way to get/stay in character. Writing down his inner thoughts.

It definitely is pretty great! I try to journal everything that happens while at the table and then rewrite everything as a summary for the podcast. So what you all heard was a summary of a series of many events. I have pages of things, mostly just trying to capture everything in the moment so I can mull it over later. Totally helps with character development.

A few clarifying points. A) The only thing that really needs editing would be to pull out the story times from their episodes. I have the files for the DM-Nastics already out on their own. B) All of the episodes would remain as they are. The Story Time and DM-Nastics would be added to the feed on the correct day that they would have aired. C) I can definitely see how it would be a bit much adding in all of the old segments in between the other episodes. D) This might make a good Patreon perk, as it is one of the only places to effectively post the backlog for easy consumption, and not potentially muddle up the overall feed. E) More time to think on the matter is needed it would seem, haha.

Haha! I love, love, love it! 3x the Block it feels. With this increased Story times you went into a lot more depth of not just your game, but DM discourse as well. Amazing!
