Hi guys. First time posting here on the forums!
For those who like to use timelines and fully write up the history of your world,
I've been looking at timeline creator software as I prefer to do my worldbuilding on the computer rather than on paper. However, what I've found was either too expensive (prices range from 30$ to 60$) or very clunky. The free versions often disable saving your progress, impose a limited trial, or don't allow you to stray off of Earth's calendar.
Anyone know of free software that can handle this?

Hey Frota, sorry your post slipped past me here. So I use several things when working on this. Excel/Google Sheets is a good place to lay down a base, check your math for days, lay out holidays, etc. Now another thing I use is actually built into Fantasy Grounds, as it has a calendar tracking feature in it. (You can get a free trial.) I wouldn't pay money to accomplish that myself. That's easy to do, even on paper. Unless you have some crazy stuff in mind for your calendar.
Edit: Literally post number 1! Welcome!

I would slip over to the dungeon master resources master list thread and check there. Lots of tools for worldbuilding and you just might find what you are looking for there.
