that's a beautiful map! You could print that out as A3 and hand it to players and say 'this is what your characters see in the library'
looking at the southern section, there are some long coasts that have no islands nearby, so there will be some big storms smashing against the coast (if i've understood Rich correctly)

It's possible, but, you'll notice that the very bottom of the map (the southern pole) is an Antarctica-type land mass. So, there very well could be storms, but they'd be of a different variety since much of the water down there is frozen. |
