FYI I am a player in this campaign.
So the setting seems to be based on scandinavia / northern europe during the christening of the "heathen" faith aka the Norse faith.
So we have Norse gods in the campaign, elves are from alfheim and dwarfs are from nidalvir, The norse gods had invaded this plane to strike against whats known as "the ancient ones"
Meanwhile a unified land to the south is united under the banners of The one god and is spreading their influence northwards to the lands of the seven kingdoms.
Queue session start, Our characters are all from the same clan of Valmund ( or children of death) , we Have a death domain Cleric in service of Hela, we have a dragonborn fighter who is a veteran raider, a ****-eating monk-warlock of the infernal pact And a know-it-all Elder Warlock of the ancient gods who is the closest to a skillmonkey that we have (also quite fond of creating potions and poisons)
First session started with a blood eagling, leaving a warning on a scroll written in blood and put into the torso of the one who got blood eagled, and general chaos.
And it only increases from there, from the waking of a elder god to raiding the churches of the one true faith.
