So I have finally gotten around to filling out the details of my world and wanted to share to get input. Here we go. Etheria sits on the edge of other worldly planes. When beings pass away on their planes if they made good in the life before they are sent to Etheria for another chance not remembering anything of their previous life and starting fresh. The world is watched over by the Good and Neutral Gods of the Dawn War who fought off Thurizdun and his 5 sons (Asmodeus, Bane, Gruumsh, Torag and Zehir and locked them away in the Etherian moon. That is until a newly forming cult has found out what is locked away in their moon and wish to release it. They have begun to convince the people of Etheria that the gods that are worshiped do not exist therefore weakening their strength in the world and and the power to keep Thurizdun and his brood trapped. Thus a cataclysmic event happens that will event not only Etheria but the surrounding planes. The Gods of Evil break free of their cage and begin ravaging the world. The shards of the moon burst out towards the different planes and look much like comets from the sky. Now lets get to where a first campaign would set up. On one of these planes we start our adventure and a comet lights up the sky and a set of multi-classing clerics are fighting a pack of wolves and during the encounter the comet falls to the plane killing all are in the vicinity. The Clerics are now greeted by the Goddess of Life & Death Ravinqen. She informs them that their world has been destroyed and that they can call Etheria home but that is until the Gods of Evil take over or are destroyed which is up to them. So that is it please comment and give advice I would love to hear it. This is the Southwestern region of Etheria.
