Hoo, then my plants for a human fighter with polearm master is a go! edit: I made the background stuff on roll20, can delete later if not fine Edit 2: ****, I think I made one of THOSE kinds of characters, the "I've slain 500 dragons, while only being level 1" Was not my intention, words just started spewing onto the word.doc

Sneak Peek at the Mass Combat (MC) Map! It's a one-shot, so I've no problem giving a little behind the scenes info to whet your appetites. So what I've done here in Roll20, as a Mentor Level subscriber, I've simulated a Dim Light Condition using the Dynamic Lighting feature, by placing a token with a light source in the upper left corner, and set the radius at 3000, with the dim level starting at -5. This spread dim light outwards, that fades into complete darkness. This simulates the fact that while you might be able to see at night, you can't make out things past a certain distance. If you were to move your PCs closer, I will set your tokens to emit a dim light source that only you can see. If you have Darkvision, I will set your tokens to see bright (normal) light within your radius (60' I believe), and you will see dim outside of that radius. Border-to-border of the map is 3,960', with each square measuring 20' as per the MC rules. The three light globes are torchlight from the outpost towers guarding three crucial bridges over the river. Why are they crucial? What conflicts might arise? What horrors lurk in the darkness beyond? We shall soon see!

Man, I actually really like Roll20, and I almost wished I had given it more thought before buying FG's Ultimate (which I love as well). I guess it's not a hobby if you don't overspend on it right. I may have to up my subscription from free on Roll20. We still on for Monday? Edit: That maps looks scary too.

Well the one thing about FG being officially licensed, is that creatures are pre-made. Making them up from scratch is a drag, but I only have to do it once thank goodness. ETA: Yep, Monday's a go! For reals this time!

With all that is going on chit-chat wise here just wanted to drop an idea off real quick. I am thinking of possibly running an evening game of 5e DnD in my Homebrew setting. I would be doing this no more than once/twice a month as my schedule is rather busy with EMT school now. I live on the EAST COAST so keep that in mind. I can do anything after 7ish EST and run to about 12 to 130A EST. If this sounds like something you might be interested in LET ME KNOW.
I will be using Roll20 combined with skype for voice chat. So depending on peoples reaction/turnout we could definitely make this happen! Just something to chew on...
I would definitely be wanting to start once things lighten up with my EMT course so sometime within the next month or so...
