I have always thought the same about fallen paladins too. None of this, I found my order to be a sham. No sir. Its 100% full-effort, soul be damned kind of falling. I like the, to save the faith I must damn my own, twist myself.

I suppose that covers the bases. Those are awesome! I also found one epic one for the DM, to join the throng! (Sort of blurry, but worth it).

Pretty dang amazing that history/culture was passed along this way for hundreds of years before written language....just goes to prove that those who can weave a story are AMAZING!

Those are awesome! I also found one epic one for the DM, to join the throng! (Sort of blurry, but worth it). So much awesome in one picture. Pretty dang amazing that history/culture was passed along this way for hundreds of years before written language....just goes to prove that those who can weave a story are AMAZING! If I remember my timeline right, "we" started using tools at least 250,000 years ago. Along with very simple and crude stone tools we eventually figured out to make fire and cook meat. The better diet was probably necessary for homo erectus to develop, the first homo species and they started to actually build structures, clothing, and then spread beyond the savannas of Africa. There's about a dozen other homo species until homo sapien shows up about 150,000-200,000 years ago. Then there's loads of interbreeding, a natural disaster or six (including that time Toga erupted and nearly wiped us all out) and eventually there's only homo sapien (with a salient mix of other species' genetics) left. Somewhere in all that mess we figured out how to turn grunts and squeaks into language and stories started soon after that. Stories gave us a way to pass information across generations and then we were baking bread and (probably) singing songs. Then about 10,000 years ago we started settling into three or four river valley civilizations (Egypt, India, and one in China I think?) and then came writing and civilization and all this other muckity muck. But for about 95% of the existence of the homo genus we were nomadic hunter-gather storytellers. It would be interesting to see what those nomadic bands would have made of D&D. Possibly relevant:

Throw these miniatures on your table... your players won't expect them.
