I can start one. I wanted to run through a game as a player first, but I can just jump in instead.
Give me a week or so to get my ducks in a row. Meanwhile, all those interested should track down at least the Numenera Players Guide. That will give you what you need to know to roll character. You can generate a character if you like, but keep in mind that most character builds in Numenera have some aspect that's supposed to be tied in to another players PC. This is a built in party RP encouragement.
Also, I think Gamersplane isn't set up for built in Numenera character sheets, so be prepared to get me your sheet somehow.
If you want in on the game, start an account on Gamersplane and PM me. Handle is Friar_Tuk.

Someone start a Numenera game over on Gamers Plane! Working on it! Trying to finish the Corebook so I can at least do a semi-decent job my first time.

EDIT: Ok, sorry for derailing your thread man. Not paying attention. Maybe we should make a "Numenera" thread of it's own?? I will help contribute to your world building to make up for it.

No worries. It seems like here on the DMB forums that if you aren't taking someone else's thread on a completely unrelated course, you aren't doing your job. But, I'll welcome your contribution to our world-building!

Friar Took, I have not played Numenera but I can tell you that the Cypher System is very well done. I was fortunate
enough to have played The Strange at GenCon last month. My friend and I were so impressed with
the game mechanics that we both bought The Cypher System rulebook. Character creation is quick and
easy, it also allows for great customization.
