So, as some of you guys may know, Warner Bros & Hasbro made a deal to make a new D&D movie. Just curious as to what everyone thought about it?
My hopes for it are positive. Iv mentioned in another thread that the first and most campy of the three movies was my introduction to the game and i will forever be greatful for it.
Please dont let this start a dispute lol. Just a subject that I thought may be enjoyable for all us as D&D devourers.

I am always up to watch a D&D movie, good or bad. I wish they had finished the animated Dragonlance movies from the Chronicles!

I'm feeling pretty positive about it, can't wait to see a trailer. I've always wondered why there was never a Forgotten Realms movie or series of movies, if done right it has potential to be absolutely incredible.

honestly it couldn't happen at a better time imo. With the technology of today the special and graphical effects are out of this world. I think as long as they can get actors and actresses that can perform their roles without OVER ACTING, then we are golden.
I mean if you take something like the Lord of The Rings movie series AND the Hobbit you can really start to put the visuals into perspective. Granted the DnD movie may not get that much attention and love from the industry like LoTR did. But it definitely leaves room for hope!
So I will go into this with an open mind and expect the worst but hope for the best!
PS: Lunitar, holy crap man I did not realize that you had registered on the PbP site and that I am playing in your game! now this makes me EVEN more excited lol.
