I've requested access, but unless you meant to approve people on an individual basis, you'll want to set the sharing to "Anyone with the link can view."

No worries! Looks really good. What did you use to make it? It looks really good, so you either put a lot of time into it or the program is amazing! Probably more the former, but always worth asking.

What did you use to make it? Photoshop, I spent quite a bit of time doing the details but the basic stuff took maybe half an hour but everything in total, I couldn't even tell you. 15 minutes here, 2-3 hours there, just whenever I had a bit of time and some inspiration. Honestly, the most annoying part was getting the hex overlay to work properly. I'm currently working on some zoomed in maps of the settlements my guys have visited and will soon visit. As well as a zoomed out map showing some more of the surrounding regions for inevitable future exploration.

Glad it got up and running! And I agree it is a really good map. And every map I look at gives me ideas on how I want to do mine. I really like how you divided everything into hexagonal areas (I think it is the Wargamer inside of me). And, if you don't mind me asking, what are those orange dots up in Vatarrn?

Yea, the hex overlay was mostly what I was asking about. I figured you'd put a lot of time into the details around the rivers and things, but that was what made me think, "what did he use for this?" I'll have to experiment with hex overlays in GIMP.

And, if you don't mind me asking, what are those orange dots up in Vatarrn? Well, the larger ones around the edge of the mountain range are entrances to the dwarven halls that run beneath the mountains. The two smaller ones in the less mountainous portion between the fork in the river are in fact gnomish settlements. Gnomes that have escaped with the aid of dwarves or merely found their way north have been permitted to settle in that region, it being beyond the reach of Vallin and the Capitol of Dostrin where the slave trade is strongest and most supported. This is a point of friction between the humans of Vallin and the dwarves of Vatarrn but as of yet, no official action has been made. The trade agreement made now hanging by a few, delicate threads of well chosen words and well placed coin.

What were the gnomes escaping from? The gnomes in my world have been almost entirely enslaved by the humans of Vallin. They were attempting to escape from a life of slavery. They are mainly used in the iron mines and granite quarries that dot the hills surrounding Dostrin.

I got the same brushes for mapping. Love that set. The map looks really good, and I like the style you are presenting. This guy has some good tutorials and information on his site about map drawing. www.fantasticmaps.com/

Great map. I love the hexes. That map site is awesome dmkaido, and if it isn't on the DM Resource list it definitely needs to be. I mean I was running low on having websites to check every hour of every day, haha.

Got some solid tips! Going to have to snag a few of them for when I digitize my world map!

Can never have too many resources. I will post it to the Resource list so it can be added.
