A question for the Block Party: when prepping for an over the top Xianxia type game, would it be appropriate to have the PCs play gestalt characters with one of their two classes being Monk? I'd restrict them to only one archetype between both classes, but do either of these ideas sound like they'd work?

I don't think It's Nessesary But You Could Give Them Free Monk Levels At Times for certain Achievements maybe even as part of a magic item
