I had a campaign where I knew I was going to kill a specific PC using their npc best friend who is a goddess of inescapable fate in disguise. Unfortunately the campaign is on indefinite hiatus but I want the use the npc in future campaigns. My problem is that I never wrote in a description for her Devine form.
To this end a book about monster hunting by a practicing pagan had a chapter dedicated to demons sticks out in my head. He explained that on of the things that they all seem to have in common was a deep strangeness to their appearance. Like a nude headless man with a dog's head coming out of his belly and snakes for fingers. Just weird disturbing stuff.
I feel like all Devine and infernal beings should have a similar trait but I'm have trouble applying this to the goddess. If anybody feels like giving me any inspiration or working their creative muscles on this that would be great. I just can't seem to make something sound horrifying and beautiful at the same time. Thanks all.

First thing that pops in my head is a play on the statue of blind justice. You have a woman who is blindfolded but at some point she removes it to reveal no eyes whatsoever. No eye sockets, no scarring, just smooth skin.

Ok, I like that, the strangeness or disturbing aspects not being readily apparent. Like maybe a third eye with a seamless lid but small spine like teeth instead of eyelashes maybe? Still looking for ideas.
