This week we thought it would be great to call back into the recesses of time, and leverage the structure we used to create a paladin order to instead collaboratively create a druidic circle. All categories marked with an X may have multiple entries. Also note that category 11 is the catch-all category for any juicy ideas unrepresented by any other category. Ex: 11) This circle of druids has a great enemy in the form of [BBEG]...This circle of druids is constantly eating [this fruit]…etc.
1) Name of the circle -
2) (Preferred) alignment of members -
3) Patron deity -
4) Mission -
5) Symbol/heraldry -
6) Why did they form?
7) Where are they founded? Could be more general rather than specific -
8x) Tenets - the principles they adhere to while performing their mission
9x) Notable figures in the order
10x) Historic achievements
11) Supplemental information: anything you want to contribute that doesn't have a specific entry above, or is in addition to an entry that is already filled. For example, if the Mission category has already been filled, you may include a secondary mission in this entry. If someone already posted a symbol for the circle itself, you might think about emblems for their ranks inside the circle.
Let’s lift the mental weights, right now!

I've never played a druid, don't have one in my group, and had one friend play one in the game I was a player in so I feel SUPER QUALIFIED to contribute to this! So I threw together a symbol! It's a globe cracked in half by a lightning bolt revealing a geode inside.

1) Name of the circle-
Circle of the Crystal
Druids of this circle use crystals to attract and guide the universal energies, these energies may be used to promote peace and healing as well as cause disruption and malcontent.

10x) Historic achievements
Long ago in the 3rd age of Dayeimbe the circle of the crystals used their power to build a great Atlantis-esc city, called Gemtopia, utilizing the power of crystals. Gemtopia was a center of peace and healing in a dangerous and unstable world. The cities needs for gemstones soon out grew their resources and over mining of the area caused the entire region to collapse, falling below the ground. Some say this was nature’s way of correcting the imbalance they created, others say it was divine punishment for losing their way, others just say it’s a myth to teach us about over ambition. Whatever the case, the circle does not use the crystals power to fuel cities and keep much of their arts secret to prevent others from doing so.

3 Patron:
A powerful earth elemental being, resembling a massive dark glowing crystal with a visible crack. The being is damaged, immensely powerful and trapped in the material plane.

4. Mission:
Maybe there are two factions of the circle hence the divided geode. The main faction (A) is trying to prevent the gemstone power knowledge leaving the circle. Maybe there is a smaller faction (B) secretly researching the gem tech and have started selling the gemstone power knowledge to various factions in the world.

I was tinkering with the original idea and came up with something different. Any thoughts, comments?
1) "The circle of tide and fury."
2) (Preferred) alignment of members - any willing to take the oath and do what ever it takes to preserve the sea.
3) Patron deity - an aspect of Umberlee, Chaotic Evil goddess of the sea.
4) Mission - "Preserve the life of the sea."
5) Symbol/heraldry - A whirl-pool with sharks teeth.
6) Why?+ 7) Where - In the distant past, the island kingdom of Tephris is destroyed by the goddess for over-fishing and polluting the sea. Priests and priestess of Umberlee warn the people but they do not listen, even when the omens start. Between two blood moons, the tides gradually get wilder and bigger. Debris and discarded rubbish clog the harbours. Finally a massive tsunami washes the island bare. A small number of the devout are spared, carried to the mainland by sharks. They form the first circle and dedicate themselves to the sea. Overtime they grow in number by word of mouth. New members generally coming from places near the coast.
8x) Tenets - the principles they adhere to while performing their mission I. Teach the ways of the sea. II. Take no more than what you need from the sea, and do not waste what you take. III. Protect the sea and life within. IV. Let those that do the sea harm, be offered as tribute to the Goddess.
Note about IV: When the circle find a person or group that harm the sea, they are given one warning. If the heed it they may be spared, unless the goddess is hungry. If not the circle hunts them down and captures them. They bind the individuals and at the next full moon, summon a massive whirlpool and toss them in. They may drown, or they may be gobbled up by the predators sent by Umberlee.
9x) Notable figures in the order Lira the webbed. Tiefling druid, has webbed hands and feet. They once sailed as a passenger on a merchant vessel that had been polluting waters near the coast. They summoned the whirlpool under the vessel. The merchants were sent to the deep.
Lorimer, the twice drowned. An elven druid. Fell into the sea as a child, drowned and was resussitated by family. They become obsessed with the sea. One day, Lorimer tries to stop fisherman from murdering seal-pups. The fisherman hold them under the water and they are drowned again. The goddess sends Lorimer back to exact vengence. (insert bloody veil here)
10x) Historic achievements Save a starving village by stopping a nearby kingdom (Arkaos) from over fishing the area by destroying the Arkaos fishing fleet.
I was thinking of a druidic circle near the sea, and their connection to that force of nature vs a forest. I initially thought nice, peaceful, contemplative souls. But it gradually went to a darker and darker place.

8x) Tenets - the principles they adhere to while performing their mission
Members of the Circle of the Crytal follow very strict procedures when preparing the various stones prior to embarking on their various gem quests. Naturally, the ancient stone grimoire that details these various ceremonies is entitled: The Crystal Method.
