Players and DMs all over the world heard Richard Baker talk about the Warlock on Dungeon Master’s Block episode 172 and started to think about doing more with them in their games. But lo, thought rorrik and I, there were not enough or appropriate patrons in the world of Dayeimbe to support this influx of new Warlocks! We built these questions for you to use to build a patron for Dayeimbe or for your players: 1. Who is your patron? 2. What world forces do they represent? 3. What spells do they add to the list? (Usually 2 of each level 1-5) 4. What is their level 1 feature? (Something small that improves with level to stay relevant) 5. What is their level 6 feature? (A pretty significant boon) 6. What is their level 10 feature? 7. What is their level 14 feature? (A powerful effect) 8. What other requirements and consequences come from a pact with the patron? 9. Anything else? Look back to all of the awesome deities and entities throughout Dayeimbe. Let’s build some patrons and be really im-PACT-ful ... Also, feel free to create a patron entirely on your own, or to plant the seeds and ask others to help build it with you!

Who is your Patron? The All-Powerful, All-Knowing, Godlike Master of all he surveys, Worldbreaker, Warmonger, Legend of legends and king of all... Shaggy
What world forces do they represent? After conquering the universe with a mere 0.8% of his power, Shaggy realized that his life needed a change. As such, he now lends 0.000000000000000001% of his power (a force that could conquer a nation of used properly) to those individuals that he believes can better the world. Shaggy could, of course, end all problems with a wave of his hand, but he believes that this does not accomplish what he aims for: the utter salvation of all races, on all planes of Existence
What Spells do they add to the list? Level 1- Any two 1st level spells from the Wizard spell list (Representing the adaptability of the almighty Shaggy) Level 2- Burning Hands, Cure wounds (Representing the healing and hurting power of the Mighty Shaggy) Level 3- Locate Animals or Plants, Healing Spirit (Representing Shaggy's connection to the Universe) Level 4- Fly, Mass healing Word (Representing Shaggy's Ascension to Godhood) Level 5- Dimension Door, Mordenkainen's Faithful Hound (Representing Shaggy's greatest friend and ally, Scooby Doo.)
Blessing of the Unarmored Shaggy Starting at first level, you gain a armor class of 10 + your charisma modifier when you are not wearing heavy armor or using a shield and carrying the Symbol of Shaggy (A symbol that is given to the warlock when they first make their bond by the Almighty Shaggy that looks different to everyone who looks at it)
The Powerful Body of Shaggy Starting at sixth level, you gain the power to channel 0.01% of shaggy's power through your body and manifest a higher strength score to crush your enemies. For the next hour, you gain the following benefits - Your strength, constitution, and wisdom scores each increase by 1, to a maximum of infinity (The number of Shaggy's power) - You gain proficiency with all weapons - You gain one of the following choices - Regain all first level spell slots - All spells you cast for the next ten minutes use the Wild Magic Surge rules. If you don't like the results of this roll, you may choose to reroll. You must take the score you reroll, even if its worse than the first roll
The Infinite Mastery of Shaggy At tenth level, choose any six skills, languages, tools, or weapons that you don not have proficiency in. You gain proficiency in those skills.
The Unlimited Potential of Shaggy At fourteenth level, the true potential of Shaggy is finally unveiled to you. Seeing the true, universe destroying powers of Shaggy changes your like. You may choose one boon (Found in the Dungeon Masters guide). You gain that boon permanently.
What other requirements and consequences come from a pact with your patron? At first level, when you witness Shaggy for the first time, you gain a form of Short-Term Madness. You also have a +2 bonus for any Wisdom or Intelligence checks you make that are related to Shaggy's power or lore.
Anything Else? Please note that this is broken. This subclass is designed to be the best, and if you take this seriously and use it and it breaks your game, its your own fault. So please just look at this the way that I did when I wrote it: a funny joke based on a meme that I made for fun. Don't make it serious, because Shaggy isn't serious. When 1% of your power could obliterate a planet, who could be serious?

Who is your patron? THE STONE DRYAD: PETRA Petra is a folk-lore stone nymph, only known in certain towns where she has been most prominent. While most dryads' life force is bound to a tree, Petra is a dryad bound to stone of all kinds. She is known to exist primarily in forests, and some mountainous areas where ancient ruins can be found.
What world forces do they represent? Stone has so much more to tell us than we know. Often called "the protector of temples and ruins." She thrives in ruins that possess residual ancient magic. Petra is widely followed by archeologists, and protectors of ancient land. In return for her patronage, she calls upon her followers to defend important archeological sites from those who seek to destroy them, or use up their resources for evil. ((My campaign contains a lot of deep-time themes, like ruins for my players to discover, learn the history of, and ancient powers to harness. I'm a big fan of archeology, and sometimes it seems like so many people want to destroy what's left of our ancient past, and I thought, how cool would it be to have someone out their to defend it)).
What spells do they add to the list? LEVEL 1, Sleep, Earth Tremor LEVEL 2, Spike Growth, Protection from Energy LEVEL 3, Meld into Stone, Erupting Earth LEVEL 4, Stone Shape, Stone Skin LEVEL 5, Wall of Stone, Passwall
What is their level 1 feature? (Something small that improves with level to stay relevant) NATURAL INTUITION Petra grants her followers an intuition for all things natural. Take proficiency in Nature. Double your proficiency bonus on intelligence checks that have to do with Nature.
What is their level 6 feature? (A pretty significant boon) Any ideas for these three?
What is their level 10 feature? ^^^
What is their level 14 feature? (A powerful effect) ^^^
What other requirements and consequences come from a pact with the patron? Little does the PC know, as they grow stronger in the Warlock Class, the more stone-like they become. First signs of this change begin at the finger tips and toes, starting with the nail beds, and in the sudden silvery color of the hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows. This change can happen gradually or rapidly depending on the individual. While this change does not inhibit body movement until much later in the transition, it is the silent promise that one day, Petra will take you as her own. You will be immortalized within a statue of your own form. Ever feel like a statue's eyes are following you?
Anything else? Some cool lore: The Stone Dryad is said to travel through the stone walls of abandoned wizards towers, collapsing ancient temples, even through the pebbles and sand at the banks of the river. Some say they can feel her presence- its been claimed stone walls vibrate when she's near, or spots of stone walls are hot to the touch. Some people have discovered carvings of a woman's face, imprinted in cavern walls, hidden stone rooms, and on stone ceilings. The carvings are so smooth, it is as though they were stamped into the stone with extreme heat. Each carving is identical. The woman's facial features are round, and ancient in appearance. There are glyphs on each cheek in an old stone script no one has been able to identify. Travelers speculate it is The Face of Petra: a signature she leaves on sites she protects, or perhaps a portal from which she travels in and out of stone.
In addition, Petra can communicate with her followers in any number of ways. Some examples: rock formations, or stone glyphs.

1. Who is your patron?
The Council of Chaos.
The Council is actually one creature from the far realm with uncountable personalities. Each personality had their own goal, but the personalities work with each other to further their group goal, chaos for the sake of chaos.
2. What world forces do they represent?
The Council of Chaos represents the unbridled chaos of the universe.
3. What spells do they add to the list? (Usually 2 of each level 1-5)
1st Bane, Dissonant Whispers
2nd Blindness and Deafness,Phantasmal Force
3rd Bestow Curse, Blink
4th Confusion, Polymorph
5th Geas, Modify Memory
4. What is their level 1 feature? (Something small that improves with level to stay relevant)
The warlock gains advantage on all saving throws from the magical schools of enchantment and illusion.
5. What is their level 6 feature? (A pretty significant boon)
Using the power of chaos the warlock can cause attacks against them to miss. Once per turn the warlock can cause a -1d6 to hit or damage, to one opponent targeting them. This ability can be used a number of times equal to their charisma bonus (minimum of 1 time) per short rest.
6. What is their level 10 feature?
The warlock gains resistance to psychic damage.
7. What is their level 14 feature? (A powerful effect)
Unleashing pure chaos the Warlock can create an area of wild magic. This ability has a range of 60’ and a area of effect equal to a radius of 30’. This area of wild magic can cause a wild surge whenever a spell is cast in the area of effect the caster needs to make a concentration check equal to the warlock spell save. If the check fails roll on the wild surge chart.
8. What other requirements and consequences come from a pact with the patron?
The warlock will be asked to perform seemingly random and insignificant acts all the time. Acts include removing a nail from a step, spilling someone's drink, tripping someone or even giving a person a compliment at a specific time. Each act is given by a different personality.
9. Anything else?
The seemingly random acts are actually well planned triggers for far reaching effects. Remove a nail from a step that will cause a merchant to fall the next day, that will cause an important sale to be delayed long enough for a different merchant to make the deal instead, that will in turn lead to the merchant that fell to suffer a great financial loss, that in turn leads to the merchant's daughter marrying an unsuitable man who has money, this leads to another event so on and so forth until a final goal is met.

What a workout for my first time on here
1. Who is your patron?
Terexion - An Arch Fey who is an immortal druid that retains the shape of a giant colorful T-Rex. He wants to change the material plane so that the humanoids no longer rule and can no longer corrupt the naturel world. He seeks arifacts and fossils that can hopefully one day allow him to permanently add giant dinosaurs to the the wilderness to scare off humanoids to from the wild lands.
2. What world forces do they represent?
Ancient-Creatures and Nature
3. What spells do they add to the list? (Usually 2 of each level 1-5)
Level 1: Beast Bond Find Familiar (homebrewed to summon small dinosaur) Level 2: Animal Messenger Find Steed (homebrewed to summon a Deinonychus [Volo's Guide]) Level 3: Conjure Animals (do I have to say 'homebrewed for Dinosaurs' again? Lol) Erupting Earth Level 4: Conjure Woodland Beings Guardian of Nature Level 5: Insect Plague Wrath of Nature
4. What is their level 1 feature? (Something small that improves with level to stay relevant)
Ancient Nature Conection: The trees and other foliage can speak to you telepathically about what they've seen throughout their time alive through feelings or visions of what happened around the plant. In the wilderness, no matter the climate, you gain advantage on all Wisdom and Intelligence checks.
5. What is their level 6 feature? (A pretty significant boon)
Soul of the Prehistoric: A temporary beast form that transforms you into a dinosaur for a short burst of time. Follow the rules of druid Beast Form feature for the druid class, except the duration is only 1 minute, and you may only turn into any Dinosaur as long as the CR is equal to your Warlock level devided by 2 or lower. You may only use this once per short or long rest.
6. What is their level 10 feature?
Dinosaur's Roar: You ralease an immense cry into the air that can be heard up to 2 miles away. Creatures within 30 ft of you must succeed a wisdom saving throw of your spell save DC or it becomes frightened and must use its reaction run up double it's move speed away from you.
7. What is their level 14 feature? (A powerful effect)
Fossilize: You may use your action to turn yourself into a fossil for up to one minute, or until you use a bonus action to stop it. While you are fossilized, your move speed is 0 and you may not use any action that would required your character to move any part of it's body, including your mouth. You gain resistance to all damage except for psychic, your AC is increased to 25, and your characters weight is doubled. You can do this a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and resets when you take a long rest.
8. What other requirements and consequences come from a pact with the patron?
You must put nature, and the balance of danger and protection to life above all humanoids including yourself. Nature matters above all else and humanoids who don't believe that are not worthy of the bounty it offers, and that has slipped more and more with time. Consequences are, you can no longer wear metal armor, kill beasts unless it's absolutely necessary, or otherwise be a threat to the natural world around you.
9. Anything else?
You are one with old nature, so, especially if the patron was taken on willfully, it'd be good to role-play with old school views. The patron could communicate through several different means. Touching a very old tree or plant could give you visions, or a wiser animal may get your attention and act as a guide. Or there may be a more direct approach by seeking him out in the feywild.
Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it!

1. Who is your patron?
the moon holds within it Etain, the sun sprite. a light elemental from the positive plane. the upon entering this plane she was in awe of the sun and began to shine as it did. this angered the sun, how dare she try to out shine him. the sun called to the air, for justice. the air, easily swayed by his good friend the sun, trapped Etain in a magical sphere of wind.
beings from the positive plane try to find the good in every situation, so she waits patiently for freedom, basking in the light of the sun and the breeze of the winds, looking down upon those beneath her, and maybe ... just maybe ... helping those she chooses.
2. What world forces do they represent?
CN light, change/ phases, wandering
3. What spells do they add to the list? (Usually 2 of each level 1-5)
1) Faerie fire, Purify food and drink (may be cast as ritual if in the moonlight) 2) moonbeam, pass without trace (may be cast as ritual if in the moonlight) 3) blink, luminous form (as gaseous form, but sparkling beam of light rather then gas) (may be cast as ritual if in the moonlight) 4) Hallucinatory terrain, Fabricate (may be cast as ritual if in the moonlight). 5) scrying (may be cast as ritual if in reflection of moon can be seen on scrying focus), reincarnate (may be cast as ritual if in the light of a full moon)
4. What is their level 1 feature? (Something small that improves with level to stay relevant)
Constant Companion: a moon orb that functions like dancing lights but is identical to the moon in small scale. shows the phases perfectly, the dark sections giving off a black light sort of effect. then moonbeam is cast it's light comes from moon orb, orb may be used as a scrying focus, also Etain may send visions to the warlock or another through the moon orb. on the nights surrounding a full moon the added light from the moon orb can trigger a transformation from lycanthropes. if in moon light or the moon orbs light is present lycanthropes do not regard you as an enemy unless provoked.
5. What is their level 6 feature? (A pretty significant boon)
Other self: the warlock gains the ability to shape change into a bear, wolf, tiger, boar, or rat (or other home brew "were" base creature). you must choose 1 type of creature and you will always turn into that. you may transform number of times/ day (or night) based on proficiency bonus. on nights of the full moon may shape change between true form and other form without limit and can cast spells in your "other self" form.
6. What is their level 10 feature?
Moon blessing: when in moon light you gain the benefits of a bless spell- except with bonuses being +1 for each phase of the moon (new +0, crescent +1, quarter +2, gibbous +3, full +4).
7. What is their level 14 feature? (A powerful effect)
Face of the moon: your moon orb's light functions as true moon light for all purposes (including your spells). all attacks made in the light of the moon are considered magical radiant damage. can always cast spells in your "other self" form.
8. What other requirements and consequences come from a pact with the patron?
Etain of the moon is drawn to those who wander the world, whether alone or in company she is drawn to those who feel loneliness.
as a being from the positive plane, Etain is generally very cheerful and positive; except in the night of the new moon when she gets very dark, gloomy, and foreboding. look forward to alot of (chaotic neutral) help on the full moon and alot of (chaotic neutral) gloom and doom on new moon.
rather then collecting the souls of those in her service she seeks to reincarnate them, finding great pleasure in the completion of one life cycle and beginning of a new one. these reincarnated souls she will try to follow, but does moves to new pacts if they do not show interest in her.
9. Anything else?
the moon: I am unsure how many moons Dayeimbe has, nor have I found any reference to their gods (if any) (i'm only halfway through the episodes ... yes, i started at the beginning).
if there are more then one moon, this is the one responsible for lycanthropic transformations. if their are any moon gods/ goddesses it's not the one they live on. it is the moon like white gold in the sky, cycling through phases. also, in retrospect this could be too strong.
