My favorite Marvel super-hero is Daredevil, nuff said! I mean, he is a blind superhero and a lawyer at the same time. What other superhero both captures and defends his super-villains? His movie sucked, but I am geeking out over the April 10th reboot on Netflix.

I really like Daredevil and can't wait to see what Netflix does with the entire set or characters. If Agent Carter is any indication of how far they are willing to let a tv series go with awesome Marvel things then the Netflix stuff should be amazing. Wolverine has always been my favorite from a very early age. I feel like it's the bandwagon hero, but I've been on this band wagon for so long! Deadpool is probably second again somewhat band wagon, but the new movie sounds like it is going to be amazing. I'm stoked about the Sony/Marvel deal, but slightly fearful of how much creative control they still seem to have. Also, the rumor mill would lead us to believe that it won't be Peter Parker because some of the emails in the hack were perceived as racist. I pray each day that Marvel gets all of their properties back. Namely Fantastic Four because eek gads!

The problem is that Daredevil has always been a spidermanish superhero: cracking jokes and generally mocking his enemies. The Netflix commercial does not exactly bring about the same feel. Daredevil is not batman, he is a lot more light-hearted and swashbucklerish. But, what the hey its daredevil. Also, has anyone seen the new commercial for Fantastic Four? Never have been a fan of Ultimate Fantastic, but this doesn't look too bad. Mr. Fantastic has always been right next to daredevil for me. m.youtube.com/watch?v=e-BVs-KCSiA

I was geeking out when I saw Vision at the end. And the shot where all the avengers are jumping into action! Cannot wait for this movie! Marvel keeps on bringing the gold!

What's your first Marvel comic experience? Though I had a lot of Spidey comics when I was younger, the first issue that really made me take notice of what comics could be was X-Men issue#129. It was Kitty's first appearance and it was the first Marvel comic that showed me the familial aspect of being in a team that rivaled my love for DC's Teen Titans. I still have a huge soft spot for that issue. This was also back in the day when no one had ever heard of the X-Men and they were a brilliant secret only known to the hard-core fans. We used to argue that an X-Men movie could never be done because there was too much plot complexity, too many special effects needed, and too many intricate character dynamics. There was no picturing Nightcrawler on the screen back in the early 80s. That time seems so far away now. marvel.wikia.com/X-Men_Vol_1_129

Oh man, great question!
I honestly cannot remember. Comics were a HUGE part of my childhood, but I can't remember the first one I read. Maybe I can't because they were so ubiquitous in my young life. I spent almost every dollar I could get on comic books.
The first comics were either Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comics or X-Men. I was a huge TMNT fan and the Jim Lee era of X-Men was my favorite as a kid. I was always more about the art than the story, I wasn't much of a reader until my early teens. But I loved to draw, so I worshiped comic artists and would choose my comics by their art.
I remember when Image comics first started coming out and guys like Mark Silvestri were leaving Marvel and DC to work for Image. I still have a bunch of Image #1's lurking in plastic somewhere. Here's a pisser: I remember seeing issue #1 of Spawn on the shelf, looking through it, and rejecting it. I didn't like the art style at the time (I think its awesome now) and found the story boring. CHUMP! Shoulda bought it, but hey, I was what, 10? 11? I have an 11 year old son, and man, there's no accounting for the taste of a middle schooler.

For me it was X-men Vol. 2 Issue #1 that is my first comic book memory. My next memory was roughly around the Onslaught story days. I was pretty much exclusive to X-men titles and Wolverine titles. I remember the bankruptcy days where all the covers were black and white and they were bumping out multiple issues per month to help out. Stepped out of comics for years to come back and find out that staying current would literally cost an arm and a leg.
I jumped back on board a couple years back, but realized that staying current wasn't worth it so I signed up for Marvel'sUnlimited account and happily stay about six months behind for $100 a year instead of $100+ a month. I also have a handful of titles from other comic companies that I follow. The new TMNT series from Image is amazing. Legends of Baldur's Gate, Pathfinder, Rat Queens, and the AMAZING Skullkickers are all worth the price especially the last two. Walkind Dead, Wayward, and Samurai Jack as well.
What an awesome question!

Anything superhero, outside of 1966 Batman, never really interested me (I mainly focused on fantasy). Until I got ahold of some old Thor comics and read one of the "Tales from Asgard". I instantly fell in love with Thor comics. I dabbled a bit in the Fantastic Four, but I only liked Mr. Fantastic. I continued to get a comic here or there and stumbled upon Daredevil. I think it was DD that started my comic craze. I literally bought all the Daredevil comics in the book store (it was a small bookstore). After Daredevil I got some reprints of the Captain Marvel comics. I enjoyed him, but never liked his powers (if you read the comics, you are never sure exactly what his powers are). I have also read the annihilation comics (the only comics past 1980 I have read). Finally, I love the X-men. But only the comics written by Stan Lee. I am an Xmen purist and, as far as I know, Roy Thomas never broke the team up and Cyclops is still the leader of five teenage superheroes.
