Hey! I'm trying to find adventures or settings that escape the usual fantasy tropes and are more light-hearted in tone. The usual "fantasy-heroes-fight-doomsday-baddie" stuff is wearing down on me a bit. Any suggestions?

Is there a particular setting that you think would capture the feel you are going for? I know there was the Adventure Time episkde, and the some 5e converted material for the setting that could be a nice change of pace for you

I wasn't thinking of any particular setting. I do remember the Adventure Time episode, and I think there was a series of Tribality articles on the subject as well. The tone of that is kinda what I'm after, but I'm not sure how well something that outright silly will sit with the players. I'll run it by them.

Whenever I feel like throwing in some fun witty nights, i try to take a lot of inspiration from the podcast "we're so bad at adventuring" Maybe try giving it a few listens and see what inspires you?
