The tale of the last Avatar of Vorgamol
Vorgamol is a lesser deity of battle, in ancient time he was a great god worshipped by the many tribal clans in the forest, the tribes fought against the high men of Legaria and with time the Tribes became few in numbers and thus Vorgamol’s worshippers diminished and he became a lesser deity. As his powers started to weaken his followers started to have doubt in the powers he would give them and this angered him. Many years later when most of the tribes had died out and the name of Vorgamol was almost forgotten as a deity, a chieftain named Rhogwol of a tribe in the east visited the ruins of an old tribe that once had a close alliance with his own tribe. There was also the broken altar of Vorgamol and to pay his respect Rhogwol prayed to Vorgamol as his father had once taught him. Suddenly he heard a voice loud and deep as if the earth itself spoke to him but it wasn't the earth but Vorgamol himself who spoke directly to Rhogwol. “Rhogwol, chieftain of the Shourna forest. My people are doubting me, you shall show them the truth, you shall wield my power and show the world that Vorgamol may be forgotten but NEVER IS HE WEAK, if you do this for me I shall always walk with you in battle!”
Rhogwol also sought for a power beyond what simple training could give agreed to this and left the tribe to his sons and went on a journey through the world to fight any strong foe and kill it to prove Vorgamol’s strength and whenever he fought Vorgamol would always be by his side.
Appearance
Vorgamol has a similar body of a large human, broad stature with large muscles. He often wears a large bear pelt on his back and a large skull of a beast as a helmet. He wields a blunt iron blade bent and broken at the tip damaged by the many powerful blows he made with it. His skin is dark and his hair is long and black, his eyes glow in a fire red light and you can see heat rising from his body and from every breath he takes. He has an armor of pelt, bones and skulls from different beasts or humanoids.
Followers
The followers of Vorgamol carries a Kopesh looking weapon, blunt and bent to resemble the weapon Vorgamol carries. While it is blunt it is also heavy and completely in iron making it hard to wield. Most of his followers are tribal men and women but there have been several times where even a high man can be a follower of Vorgamol. The major reason why the tribes follow Vorgamol is to seek out power and prove their strength to the tribe.
Rituals
When a worshipper pray to Vorgamol in the purpose to speak to him they sit down and with bones of a slain foe in front of them, drink their blood and smears it over the eyes while chanting. Vorgamol would then appear behind the worshipper walking around him with heavy steps as if eager for battle and talks to him .
Dance: Another rite is through a violent dance around a large bowl of red hot charcoal. With the blunt blade the worshiper dance around the bowl and occasionally sticks the blade into the charcoal and flips it making glowing pieces fly into the air. During the dance the blade is moved close to the body and sometimes even onto the skin of the wielder leaving marks of ash and burnt skin.
