So i will share my lil mission or start of campaign. My players pretty much played how i wrote this. Next session i am sure will be different. I got maps online with pictures for my npcs. Only ones they met were at the chubby pixie pub, the comfy peacock, and then the manager in stone water. Also they never did a religion check on the neck yet.
Campaign Land of Makatai
Coming from DEWDALE sent to Falkirk action STONEWATER
DEWDALE was a small town that Chuck and Kris Characters had Militia duty at. They are standing in the place where morning roll call is normally at however they noticed that no one else has shown up. They see their Sargeant (Bel-Li) walk by and notice them.
The sergeant comes up and starts talking, "What are you two doing here??? Didnt you both het the memo?? Oh you didnt? I am sorry guys. The budget for guardsmen’s is cut, we have to let of your squad…. What? Well if you are looking for work, I know a person in Falkirk. He is an old friend that owes me a favor. The guys name is Mathaer. Tell him that Sergeant Bel-li told you can get work from him. Falkirk is a half days ride from here.
The 2 men journey to Falkirk and we start our story outside the Gates.

1. Outer gate and walls 2 armed guards outside… 2 inside, one by the gate latch.
2. The Comfy Peacock…. Jagger & Piper Blackwood older couple in their 50’s inns
3. town square/commerce
4. Tanna Maethrin (elf) stables… random mounts, wagons, and gear for mounts. Was an adventurer came from Ulelhil. Settled down here. Good with animals. Annoyed with Galmar.

6. The Chubby Pixie Pub/Tavern Owned with Mathaer Bartender is a bald older man name of Oswall Barclay
7. Falkirk academy .
8. Galmar Flamefist (dwarf) armor/weapons came from Vembihr to make his fortune here selling weapons and armor.
9. Local Housing for people that live in the city
10. Falkirk Temple of Worship(made for new visitors to be able to worship misc) knowing that to have as many visitors as possible they would need a misc temple. Rooms are dedicated to different gods from neutral to lawful good.

13. Falkirk barracks
14. town hall.. The Mayor of the town lives in the corner.
15. Findibik's house of Wonders. Owned by Findibik Swiftpipe (gnome) trading area (misc items rings etc)
16. Falkirk small arena/theater for sport and fun.
17. Hall of Scholars… knowledge about artifacts, weapons, magic, land, etc will be found here.

FALKIRK is about 200 years old. Founded by group of adventurers Arjun Fallows & Elijah Kirkwood. Set up as a trading stop between towns. This would be in the Center of Covaina and would be a perfect stop off point. After generations, and people grew around this stopping place it soon turned into a town. Mayor is elected for 10 year terms. The market place is the biggest source of the towns income. Democratic town with mixed races.
The Chubby Pixie Pub
Upon entering the pub the group will notice people drinking and eating. Music playing in the background. The place seems to have above moderate business from all races. Will see Oswall behind the bar serving drinks.
Mathaer
Mathaer is early 30/s black hair scruff face. Sitting in the corner. Used to be ex military, now owns a bar, however does bounty hunting for most of his income. Wears a blue/white and leather robe
Oswall Barclay
Oswall is a big man. Young 40’s muscular. Has a chin beard. Grips a cigar between his teeth. Man of little words unless Mathaer lets him. Uses his hammer for most talking.
Mathaer’s proposal
After introduction he will ask party why they needed to see him. After talking about jobs he will start to say he is sorry they were misinformed but he has no jobs for them. (little discussion) The heard outside (Hoy! Mathaer! Git your sorry ass out here! Mathaer!!!) The bar gets quiet. Mathaer seems annoyed and tries to continue to talk but interrupted (I said get your ARSE out here! You took my brother in and now you are going you pay you son of a Kobold whore!” after hearing that… “I tell you what… show me what you can do with that rable and I will give you both a trial job”.
The Rudges
Rod, Reed, & Remmy Rudge are the brothers of Ramsey Rudge. Their brother had a bounty placed on him after he killed a man after he was accused in cheating at a card game(which he was). Once he was accused he buried his battle ax into the skull of the other player and his brothers beat up the rest of the people in the tavern. Mathaer just recently collect a bounty placed on him by drugging him in the outhouse and dragging him back to his cart in the middle of the night while his brothers slept. All Rudges had bounties on them however Ramsey had the highest.
Rod is the 2nd oldest of the bunch, then Reed, then Remmy. All Rudges are quite stupid & their tempers are quite hot.
Battle with all 3 (Oswall will come out if the battle looks to go bad)
The Trial Job
After finishing off the Rudges the players will go back in. Mathaer will negotiate terms. Depending on how they did it will start 50/50 50 for the group and 50 for Mathaer(finders fee). The group can keep anything they can find along the way.… if Oswall had to come out 60/40.
He will ask for glasses and a pitcher of beer, when Oswall puts a glass in fron of everyone and the pitcher near Mathaer. Mathaer with then move his hands in motions direction beer into everyone’s glass (water bending)
“Ok now then, I just so happen to have a job right here. There is a little Miners Town a half Days ride from here by the name of IronWater. It seems that they have a little Goblin problem. A few goblins led by Denog Bonetooth have killed a few miners and are now squatting inside one of their Iron Mines. The town folk are ready to leave and that is not good for Tenes Nuvolari . He will loose allot of money if these lil pest are not taken out. “
“Since this is a trial job I will be going with, to watch how you guys work and help out if need be. If you are able to do this job well then I will push more jobs your way and you will be getting more of a cut? Sound fair?”
After agreeing and having a toast to new Business Partners Mathaer will say to rest up since will be leaving early. He will say they should stay @ the Comfy Peacock and ask for Jagger. He owes him a favor give a room for a night.
Comfy Peacock
Owned Jagger & Piper Blackwood older couple in their 50’s inns
Jagger (55)with bold on top white hair around, has glasses kinda skinny side meek voice. Piper (50) Brown with white hair rolled up into a coil braid on the slightly portly side loud voice.
Piper will be at the desk, Jagger in the back.
Piper will have a big smile “Hello Welcome to the Comfy Peacock! How can I help you?” When asked for Jagger , Piper will ask why… Mathaer the reason her face will go from a big smile to a snear she will sigh and Yell to Jagger “You sponging friend with the never ending favor has 2 more!”
Jagger will stubble out and see the group and roll his eyes and sigh… “is one room ok for you guys??”
The never ending favor was he and his son was saved by Mathaer after an attack about 10 years ago. They were both badly wounded and he heal both … did not ask for any money just a favor at some point… which seemed to be renewable.
TRIP TO IronWater
Mathaer will be waiting outside with a horse and wagon. He wave to Jagger and Piper and yell “Thanks again! Your kindness will be paid ten fold in the after life for your good deeds!” Piper will yell back “How about paying in our life instead!” Mathaer will do the hand to ear thing As the wagon starts moving “Huh I cant hear you? I guess you can tell me when I get back”
Depending on what time(real) it is maybe roll for random encounter otherwise do role-play or fast forward to IronWater
IRONWATER
IronWater is a small mining town. Gets it’s name from the river next to it and the Iron that they dig for. Tenes Nuvolari owns the town. He is very posh and greedy.
Entering the town windows and doors are closed. Normally the town has much movement and is busy with minors and people however since the Goblins came everyone is staying in their houses.
Mathear will talk with Clarin Bonelli and find out where the Goblins are and then direct the Players to enter the mine.

The Mines and Denog Bonetooth
Entrance has some blood around it, broken sticks; looks like many fights had been fought and lost here.
Upon entering the cave group should roll a perception or skullduggery. Easy check of 8. If seen they will see a trip wire that they can step over. If missed an extra battle half down the mine and the last battle will not be surprised.
Perception down the cave will show that people have tried and failed a couple times. Broken crappy weapons and tools.
If there is a Battle half way will be 4 goblin minions.
Walking into The entrance on the area where Denog Bonetooth is and his crew is. .. the space is very wide and big. Entrance at the top… exits left, right and, bottom. Big hole is a fissure lower right. Seems to be this is where the goblins came from.(Story for a later date). If later the party wants to investigate Mathaer will not want to. Just want to go collect his money and go home. Job is Done)
Denog Bonetooth is surrounded by 3 goblin minions and one goblin warrior.
The goblin warrior looks to be 2nd in command
Depending on how they approach the goblins well depend on what they see.

Warrior has a javelin
Bonetooth will roar each round... After the end of his next turn 3 more cutters will appear. If Bonetooth is defeated all cutters will stop fighting and try to escape.
During the battle When it is Mathaer’s turn… he can heal party members.. for a price. 10 gold each time healed by his powers.
Once dead if search Denog Bonetooth they will see a symbol of Bane on a necklace around his neck. They will have to make religion check to know this. If look on the bodies of the rest there is the same symbol on their shoulder branded in.
END of Battle
After the battle Mathaer will turn to the party member and invite them to his Bounty Hunters group (depending how they do will be how colorful he will be. Bad (well you both stunk up this place however better then I have seen in awhile)
