I'm working with a idea for a villain that is mechanically a Draconic Bloodline sorcerer, but rather than being descended from dragons, he was an elf that killed dragons. He would eat the eggs, drink the blood, take the scales for spell reagents, and eat the meat to imbibe the inherent magic of dragons. I'm trying to ponder some altered higher level mechanics to reflect a Dragon Slayer over a descendant of a dragon.
Perhaps replacing the 18th level ability Draconic Presence with Dragon's Bane
Dragon's Bane At 18th level, you have learned to become inherently resistant to the element of dragon that you emulate or hunt, and even more-so this element now serves as a source of food and magical energy to you. Consuming a magical source of your Draconic element restores 2 sorcery points to you. When consuming the element from a draconic being's breath attack of the type you hunt, the dragon must make a Wisdom saving throw and become frightened on a failure.
Edit 1: just grammar corrections. Edit 2: The magical source cannot be your own eg) "I'm a red dragon and cast fireball into my mouth" that doesn't work.
