Hello! I am quite happy to have stumbled upon this forum and the podcast! Being a DM sometimes seems a little isolating and finding communities for thought/ideas is swell. After being introduced to D&D in high school, I have tried to either find or make a group to play with wherever I've moved. It is very satisfying to "spread the good word" and get skeptical friends totally obsessed. Currently I'm running adventures for a group from my grad school cohort who are quite smitten with the game. I've mostly played 3.5 with a brief foray into 4 that did not go well.
Other interests include knitting and literature, along with other things but I don't want to ramble. I'm looking forward to this swell resource of a forum! Cheers!

Hey there! Great to have you join the Block Party! Awesome to hear that you "spread the good word" wherever you go. Are you still running in 3.5 or did you move over to 5e? Custom world, or prewritten adventures? Again great to have you, and can't wait to see the ideas you share.

Thanks! I still stick to 3.5 and prefer custom world adventures.
