I'm going to be running through Curse of Strahd soon, and I plan on plunking the characters into death house; in fact, that's how I'm going to get them into Barovia in the first place!
After completing death house, I plan on having them realize that they're not in the area they started in! They'll be welcomed into Barovia by Morgantha in her human disguise, who will offer to sell them one of her dream pastries.
Anyways, I was considering on adding a few NPCs intro death house itself, but I want some feedback: would any added npcs detract from the experience of death house?
