A while back someone on the forums mentioned he created a "trailer" for his campaign. I made one tonight. You can play the soundtrack here (couldn't figure out how to embed audio) and view the trailer here (transitions within slides is automatic, but when the screen goes blank you have to click to move forward) Going to show it to my players after our next session when they (should) complete a major plot arch.

It looks really good. Reminds me of that part in the first Final Fantasy when you first cross the bridge. Great idea and I really should implement that.

I'm not familiar with that particular Final Fantasy moment, but as I worked I kept thinking back to the intros from 7 & 8.
It was a fantastic project to work on as it gave me a chance to reconnect with the tone, themes, and aesthetics of my campaign. Also a great opportunity to tease out some upcoming NPCs, places, and encounters while reminding heroes of things they've encountered. When we finish up the next chapter (I level up by chapter rather than tracking XP), I'll have an outline of the previous chapters where each chapter has a name and a brief recap/description--along with the trailer.
So yeah...I recommend it and would love to see your work if you end up creating one.
