As a visual aid, I sometimes toss out a bunch of d4s whenever my characters lay out caltrops around a campsite.

I really want to get a Disdyakis triacontahedron dice (d120). Those beat a d100 any day of the week. It would never be used, but it looks like it would roll better then a d100, since it's less spherical.

I also have a fluff Squat army that I play as guard if I play them, because space dwarves! Granted they were killed off by the Tyranid YEARS ago in the lore and haven't been heard from since. I know this was said quite a while ago, but I am really intrigued by the 'Squats'. I have always been interested in the old Rogue Trader since it seemed to me a strange mix of wargaming and roleplaying. How do you get the Squat miniatures? Do you convert Warhammer dwarves miniature? Do you buy 'space dwarf' miniatures or do you actually look for the original models?

I have some of the old original minis, but doing that is expensive, and they look very dated. Finding things that work well in terms of vehicles isn't too hard. A guy who was doing sculpting back when Squats were more common has continued to sculpt, and as a ton of 'Scrunts" that I have bought in place of Squats. You can check those out here www.olleysarmies.co.uk/home.html I love his stuff and lately he has been utilizing Kickstarter to fund new projects. I can get you some pics of my army if you want. I don't even remember what all is painted and not, haha. Played Space Wolves exclusively for some time, and played Necron the most lately because it is my newest army.

Speaking of Space Wolves and paintings, here is a picture of one of my paintings of a Wolf. Completely unconventional, but I just picked my favorite color scheme (whichever looked the coldest) and ran with it. The snow is a pain, but worth the frantic rush. I really like the idea of space dwarves, GW should pick up that again (of course they won't). Though I guess they might be too corny for where WH40K has ended up. Thanks for the site. That is pretty sweet and I am going to have to try Squats one of these days.
