the DM's guild has a range of great stuff, most are low cost. my favourite supplements are from Tribality, the best of all is Alchemist 5E by Rich Howard. Base class with 7 awesome subclasses. www.drivethrurpg.com/browse.php?keywords=tribality&x=0&y=0&author=&artist=&pfrom=&pto=I have used Fifth Edition Foes and Book of Lost Spells by Necromancer games, heaps of good content, but some spells/critters are unbalanced, so read before implementing.

almost forgot - cooltext.com/ to create your own logo title word greyhawk, forgotten realms, dragonlance etc all have the name of the setting in a set style on the front covers. so you can use that page to create a title logo, put it on your documents for your world or campaign.

This is pretty cool I think I'll grab it for our newer players in the group. I think the conditions card is a bit redundant though. It needs work a card that tells you being blind means you can see isn't of much use. Now if it said you are blinded = disadvantage on attack rolls, ok that's good to know. Still all in all they are pretty cool. Thanks for the link.

Just updated this with some of the more recent posts. Let me know if I missed anything. You haven't added the RPTools stuff, though I didn't label it very clearly. Maptool - One of the best (IMHO) Virtual Tabletop programs, it takes a little bit of getting used to but it's got a tone of features and they've recently started doing a bunch of updating and bug fixes. TokenTool - Nice and simple way to create tokens from the images you have, saves them into .png. There is also InitiativeTool, CharacterTool and DiceTool, though I haven't used them, if they are as good as the Map/TokenTool then they can't be bad. Also I don't think it's been mentioned, but the Sharkbone Podcast is a good podcast to listen to, while not D&D specific, on their old format they analyses a film and took ideas from it, and on the new format (Sandbox) they are creating a world with places and faces over a bunch of different 'districts' (basically genres) . Also, while I disagree with the host and the way he talks about some stuff really pisses me off (to the point where I'll listen to an episode and then be in a really bad mood after), and he talks SOOOO slowly, I'm sure someone will get something good out of the Game Master's Journey Podcast.

For those inspired by Episode 22: Creation and Inspiration III - Synergy, I encourage you to check out Magic Draft - Le Bestiare. This site allows you simulate opening up any booster pack from the first set in Magic: The Gathering's history (Alpha), right up to the most current set currently in circulation. Personally, I use the print screen function, and then paste the image into Microsoft Paint to capture the image from the site for further analysis. It is a crude method, but it works.

These Printable Hero's are pretty cool! I haven't used them myself but the art style looks fantastic and I'd definitely use them if I could get all the monsters I'd need as to keep my campaign visually consistent. They are still releasing new ones and you could commission them to do specific things like your PC's if you have the money or even just support them on Patreon to get more than just the free stuff. Cheaper than plastic mini's at any rate!!!

Does the guy who did The everchanging book of names still respond to purchases of the full version?

Does the guy who did The everchanging book of names still respond to purchases of the full version? I bought it not that long ago, and he was responding then, and assume he still is. Totally worth it too with the number of name sets that I have found on the internet.

I'll have to look into getting it next time I get paid then. fantasynamegenerator.com is nice and all, but the names sometimes get samey when I rely on it too much.

I did a quick scan and it looks like the two excellent bits of software mentioned in the latest episode by Lou Anders so I figured I'd drop the links to get them on the list. I've been finding them pretty handy! Fractal Terrain 3 (Runs $40 but it's a great way to procedural generate nice looking terrain) Everchanging Book of NamesEBoN is amazing, and runs flawlessly for me on Windows 10, and you can still register it with the creator to get it fully unlocked for use with additional name lists. Hey joatmoniac, I was wondering if you had any tips and tricks for EBoN, as I have downloaded it, and registered it with the creator (they sent me the second .zip file and everything), and I can't get my version to unlock chapters! I am also running Windows 10, and I think I've extracted everything into the right places.... I could be wrong of course! So yeah, I was just wondering if you had any ideas for why this might be happening? Its getting a little upsetting, only being able to generate 5 names at a time...

I got my hands on the Everchanging Book of Names, and am eager to use it. I'm stuck with a few questions, though, and there's not a lot of documentation for this software...
First of all, does anyone know how to use the template to create new chapters? I don't know nearly enough about code to discern what goes where in that template. I tried my hand a few times to no avail.
Second, for anybody who registered, how long did it take the creator to get back to you? I sent my payment a day ago now, but nothing ever landed in my inbox. I'm pretty certain it was no error on my part... Just curious.
Thanks!
