I have lurked around for a day and that has been long enough to figure out that this group is chock full of awesome people. Hopefully I can trick convince you all that I just might be one more.
The past year has been a bit ridiculous for me. I had a daughter who rolled way too high on her initiative check and was born four months early, but is doing amazing now and just turned one. My 4th wedding anniversary is right around the corner, and thankfully my birthday is two weeks before that so I hopefully never forget it. I received my MBA in December from the University I did my BA at, and where I work. I am the Enterprise Applications Engineer, which boils down to managing most technical aspects of the university's online courses. I just joined the board for my church, and run sound for them which I found out I'm pretty good at because I'm very anal retentive about how things sound. I also recently joined the board for my church so that I could make sure to have as many irons in fires as possible.
As for D&D goodness, I was taken under the wing of a pair of brothers who had already been playing for years. I was introduced to 2nd Edition when I was around 12 with the module The Sinister Secret Of Saltmarsh and running an entire party to try and find what class I enjoyed the most. That was almost 17 years ago, and I haven't stopped playing since. I spent the most time gaming through my high school and college years, and was heavy into 3e/3.5e, and by heavy I mean 10 - 20 books to carry around, haha. I'm not sure when it happened, but in recent years I have almost exclusively ran games from the DM side of the screen other than conventions, but even there I tend to run games. Right now I am running a Pathfinder group through the Emerald Spire Superdungeon for some old school goodness. I have also been running a group through the 5e Starter Set, and must say that I really really like the new edition. I'm not sure if or when it would be good to switch my Pathfinder group over, but I will likely try at some point.
Well that's that I suppose!
