Joined a couple weeks ago, forgot to post an introduction. Sorry 'bout that.
Anyway, been a fan of the podcast for several months & I've been following the DMB twitter feed for a while now too. I've been gaming since I got the basic set red box for Christmas in 1982 and I've played every version of the game that's ever been published at least once (including the staple-bound Tactical Strategies Rules). But, even with 34 years of DMing under my belt (oh god...), I'm always looking for more ideas, other perspectives, other interpretations, etc. in the never-ending quest to have the most fun possible.

Welcome Mark! Glad to have you on board! Do you run your own setting and campaigns or do you play published worlds?

Welcome Mark! Glad to have you on board! Do you run your own setting and campaigns or do you play published worlds? Both. I'm currently running the Savage Tide Adventure Path set in Greyhawk. I've done Forgotten Realms, Ebberon and Dark Sun campaigns too. But the setting I've used most often is a home brew. It's set on a largish island (about Ireland sized) with four major cities, the largest of which was founded 400 years ago by a retired bard. The world itself has never been named, and I like to keep the players guessing that it might a part of one of the published four.
