I'm not big on long bios, just wanted to introduce myself and say a few things. I'm James, 34, lived in Oregon most of my life. Currently unemployed, so... lots of time for D&D? Got my start in the 90's with AD&D 2nd Edition, but ended up playing various systems through high school. I lost interest in TTRPGs once I got into college, but then I dropped out after a year to join the US Army after 9/11. When I got out in 2004, I started working as a custodian, was there for about 9 years when a coworker mentioned he used to play D&D as well. We got the bright idea to get started again, formed up a 4e group, made the transition to 5e last August, and have been having a blast ever since!

That seems to be the story for a lot of people. They stopped playing d&d around college or after, and years later, meet someone who also played and get back into it. At any rate, glad you are again "One of Us."
