Despite knowing a decent amount about this episode beforehand (no clue when it would show up though) I must say that I was super impressed by it. LOVE the format, and can't wait to hear more from the Hired Heroes line of podcasts. I would say more, but don't want to ruin the pure awesome that people NEED to experience for themselves! If you haven't heard it yet Go. NOW! Downloaded, stream, whatever it takes listen to it!

Maybe there Should be a Spoiler thread when each episode drops.

I have added Spoilers to the title of this thread, thus feel free to talk freely. People will read at their own risk.

Possibly, but the spoiler tags are interesting when it comes to the mobile apps. If the spoiler is the beginning content of a post it just shows said spoiler in the preview. Thankfully the spoiler tag actually works now in Tapatalk, as it did not until fairly recent. Now that I've typed all that I'm 100% down for a spoiler thread, or just using spoiler tags here in this one. FOOD MAGE!! Really like the format as mentioned before, and can't wait to hear more about the back end of building out this episode. Another thing would possibly seeing a transcription of the Facebook convo that happened, but only if that makes sense/would make sense when read by others.[/spoiler]

Perfect! This AP episode contains the right amount of corniness (not a bad thing) and epicness. I enjoyed this "story only" type of actual play and would certainly love to hear more of it. I also enjoyed that it kept everything in character. The characters were, as well, enjoyable and the villians were nothing short of memorable. Grea, great, great episode and it was certainly worth the review.
There is only one thing... Gnome Depo?!? I am not sure if I should be rolling on the floor laughing my heart out or smacking my forehead and rolling my eyes. Seriously, though, you butter back off some of these jokes (I am just joking, of course, loved them all).

I loved the fight between Zordoo and the characters. Had the right amount of suspense in that it seemed like a fairly straight forward battle between a kobold and the party, but alas he was not alone!

Hi gents! Partook yesterday while on the road during work. I had fun imagining the rolls and rule calls behind the story. Mitch, you mentioned a script of sorts... perhaps release the script after the episode with notes describing / listing the key rolls and rule calls. Would be a great learning tool for DMs. Kind of like the example play text in some of the old DM guides.

Finally got to listen to this episode, so now this thread is fair game. I'm not an online spoiler-freak by any means, but I HATE having a good thing spoiled. So I avoided this whole section of the forums until I could listen. My take? You guys missed your true calling: radio drama! It reminded me of the old-timey radio plays that used to be legion before TV became the default storytelling appliance. Great acting and voicing! I also thought you made excellent use of the background audio. It was quiet and subtle; it didn't distract from the story taking place. Instead, it subliminally influenced the listener and aided in the immersion. I love me some Godsfall, but sometimes it feels borderline overproduced when it comes to their use of audio. Can't wait to hear more! If you guys ever need more participants ('cause I'm sure there's not enough volunteers right?) I'd be happy to contribute

Too many podcasts have their music blasting in your ear. It becomes quit distracting. DMB's music is just at that sweat spot so it doesn't distract you, but is still noticeable enough to contribute to the scenes. Great episode (like I need to tell you that, again) and I echo FTs final paragraph.

So glad you guys are all enjoying it. I grew up listening to old times radio dramas, and that was exactly the vision I had for this PBP AP pod. I'm so glad my vision has come out so clearly! Look forward to more in the future!
