True story it is pretty awesome. Very solid production quality, and an interesting ruleset. Great example of play all around in the first session, and can't wait til the next!

The Ol' Chaotic Neutral has become a running gag around the house now.

I was a backer so I feel like it's been forever since the first episode, and I'm really anxious for the second one. Luckily they are being released each week.

Possibly relevant to everyone's interest: t.co/nAVKsYtd1i(Will Wheaton's conducting a poll concerning a meatspace Old Chaotic Neutral)

Hopefully everyone is keeping up to date with this, because it is awesome. Can't believe that there are still 7 more episodes to go! I wonder how the experience will change when I undoubtedly binge watch this once it is all the way done.

I have been keeping up with this and am enjoying it immensely. It makes me want to try a Sci-Fi RPG, such as Deathwatch or Shadowrun.

We have a GURPS campaign that's trying the whole dimension-hopping thing. It... kind of works... The idea's been solid but GURPS 4th ed (published back the early aughts) still feels like an incomplete "Beta" system. So much of it is just arbitrary. On the other hand, how else is our party of Steampunk Iron Man, Pokemon Trainer, Jedi, and Cast down Lich going to venture from Narnia to Beowolf to Hyrule and off to Star Wars?

What is it like (the gameplay)? And would it be easy to implement a Steampunk feel into the game (I noticed that it is great for Cyberpunk and SciFi Dystopia)?

Been looking into that, it's hard to find much about it. What is it like (the gameplay)? And would it be easy to implement a Steampunk feel into the game (I noticed that it is great for Cyberpunk and SciFi Dystopia)? It doesn't really have a steampunk flavor to it. Its closer to Shadowrun; high tech science meets magic forces, the two clash. Basic premise is: Ley Lines reappear all over the world, bringing magic and extraplanar being into the world. Massive upheaval, Atlantis rises from the depths. Core book give a fair bit of details on the US, expansion books for other places. I had the England book, the Atlantis book and the Wormwood book (the last was another plane of existance, not on earth). Gameplay is close enough to standard d20 system that there won't be too big a learning curve. Some interesting quirks of the system: Character creation is divided into Occupational Character Classes (OCC) and Racial Character Classes (RCC). OCCs are humans, RCCs are non-humans or demi-humans and their abilities are such that they stand out as classes (meaning it would be overpowered to have say, a Dragon Hatchling (RCC) that is also a Juicer (OCC). Lots of Psionics; there are Psionic RCCs, but normal humans can roll on a random table to determine latent Psionic abilities. Damage: Every person and object in the game has a Structural Damage Capacity (SDC). When an object's SDC is reduced to 0, the object is destroyed/broken. When a person (or monster, or whatever) has their SDC reduced to 0, they then begin to take damage to their HP. Then there are Mega Damage Weapons and Armors. Each point of Mega Damage is worth 100 points of SDC. SDC weapons cannot damage MDC armors. All in all, a decent rule set and very cool setting concept.
