I've been skulking around the forums for a couple of weeks now, I think that it's high time I came into the light: I started role-playing in sixth grade with a terribly organized Star Trek game. Graduated shortly thereafter to 3rd Edition D&D, and it's been a great ride ever since. I took time off for high school and college because peer pressure and hormones suck, but now I'm out on the other side, swaggering about with confidence and facial hair. My friend who was most apprehensive about playing now readily states that there are two kinds of people: those who enjoy D&D, and those who haven't played it yet. I'm loving the ideas and especially the support on this forum. Obviously, the DM's Block should attract the classiest of folk to its banner. Oh, and as for actual bio details, I hail from the coast of Maine, but now I live in Vermont. But I relocate in a month to Virginia to achieve my dream of working at Colonial Williamsburg! Super excited! I majored in History with an emphasis on the Vikings, but American history will do in a pinch. Oh, and my favorite color is green, I like chocolate more than vanilla, the class that best represents me is cleric, but I love playing as a ranger or barbarian.

Great to officially meet you on the forums. Can't argue with some good ol fashioned skulking. You are in good company with the confidence and facial hair, haha. That's awesome to hear how your friend has changed their mentality so dramatically. Hope to see more of you on the forums, and definitely give some of the DM-nastics a try as they are an awesome way to keep sharp on creating and building.

I like chocolate more than vanilla Welcome to the Block Party! I agree with Joatmoniac that you should try out the DMnastics. I love seeing all the ideas over there (and please help with our strange, hat loving deep gnome villian). Glad you are here! Though... I am more of a strawberry guy myself... I feel feel so alone...
