So, I love riddles(that is not to say I am the most adept person at solving them), but my players are not very good at solving them so I usually avoid any that are of any real challenge when it comes to my campaigns. This means, I have no outlet for my need to solve riddles and also to tell them. Therefore, I am starting this thread as a means to quench this hunger.
So there are two options,
1. Post a riddle and put the answer below it in white(people have to highlight it to read it).
or
2. Only post the riddle and people respond with their answers(They would need to be marked as spoilers).
The second method seems like it will result in a lot more discussion and guesses, whereas the first makes more sense as far as posting riddles goes(it's major drawback is that if you think you know the answer and then check and are wrong the riddle is ruined for you).
For now I'm going to stick to the first option until I get feedback(I'll try to make a poll or something) Give it some thought before you read the answer.
Riddle Time!!!!(Made this one up) Difficulty Rating 1
Rating System (1-5, 1 being common knowledge)
At the end of day one, I am acquitted,
Thirty times so far it has been permitted
I always begin by reading the stars
Not the kind that you might see from mars
I then spin you a yarn that may seem unreal
Then I decide that it's time for the meal
It is always filling(but never enough)
So I add one more thing(Always good stuff)
This last thing, it glows
What reason? Who Knows.
But one thing is without a doubt always clear
The wait for the next one will feel like a year
Answer-Highlight the Line between the two Dashed lines

Note: You don't have to make yours rhyme or make up your own.
Also, if you have a riddle you have never been able to solve, PLEASE share. These are always the most satisfying.
Please don't just google answers(it won't even work for homemade riddles) unless you are at the "I'm going to explode if I don't know" stage. This is more of a request for your sake then anything else.
