Blood Weeper
Long sword made of blood red steel, rare (requires attunement)
Whenever you hit a creature with it, for 1 minute after you hit it, it loses 7 (2d6) hit points at the start of each of it's turns from blood loss
The effects do not stack if you hit the same creature multiple times This has no effect on Constructs, Undead or Elementals
At the beginning of every battle, you must present Blood Weeper to your foes making sure to say the sword's name. If you fail to do this, you suffer the blood loss effect as soon as you hit a creature with it until you give the sword due respect.
When presenting the sword you would hold it out in front of you and loudly say something like ''This is Blood Weeper, feels it's bite!''
I stole the idea of presenting the sword to enemies from one of the DMNastics episodes. Thank you guys for the idea

I think it's a solid high level magic weapon. I love the addition of the presentation mechanic. Definitely would hold the weapon for higher level play because you are looking at an average of 70 additional damage, the easiest way that would get reduced is that the right doesn't last as long. The flip side would be trying to hit as many enemies in a battle as possible. With all of that I would strongly consider a CON save to reduce or remove the blood loss, and/or the effect is removed with any healing. I would shout "blood for the Blood Weeper! Blood for the Blood Weeper!"
