Elemental Evil Players Companion: tribality.com/2015/03/10/elemental-evil-players-companion/Ironically, this "Companion" to the Elemental Evil adventure has everything I would want from the adventure. Its got new playable races and some new elemental spells. I hope this model works out for WotC financially. I have no plans to buy either the Elemental Evil adventure or the Princes of the Apocalypse. But I'll take all the free official D&D content I can get!

I know that Paizo puts out Player's Guides for each of their adventure paths, but this pails in comparison to the info in this product. I wonder if we will see eventually compilations of information like this or full scale products along side it. A 5E spell compendium, or an additional race book, or who knows what else. I am fully on board for free though. I'm still wondering when the Basic rules will be finalized. Too much good stuff!

It doesn't have the new feats, for one. I'm with you on free goodies, though.

Ya this is super cool, had my wife print out a copy of it at her work for me. Been reading through it. My big question is WoTC has released spell cards that you can buy. Ranger Spell Cards and I was considering picking them up. But now there are tons of new spells for certain classes and those spells wouldn't be in these packs. So probably not going to get the cards now as I will still have to have the info for these spells at the table. I do like this free companion though and totally agree and hope that they will release more like it.

Why would you buy pre-made spell cards when you can spend hours and hours filling in your own using fillable PDFs? Enjoy

Friartook is trying to sell ice to eskimos! Haha. I love those pdfs, definitely going to give these to my players. With a little prep these would be super nice and last a long time if maybe they were laminated. I did these by hand in a 3.5 game just to make it easier on myself, but with a little copy paste these could potentially be very quick to make.

A word of warning: You cannot copy/add pages to these. They have to be stand alone PDFs. If you combine them, or copy the page, the fields duplicate themselves. If that doesn't make sense PM me and I will explain how Adobe defines fillable fields.

Those are sweet. I know DM Mitch in my campaign made his own spell cards and they are working great for him. They save everyone a lot of time that is for sure.
