Started listening to this episode again, one thing that I found a little bit annoying was how all the survivalist talk was "after the end" without touching upon prehistoric settings. Like, subsistence hunting/gathering level prehistory. A lot of it is still applicable (especially on using the rules on exhaustion, weight, etc.), but Stone Age type survivalist campaigns have a different feel than post-apocalyptic. Compare Clan of the Cave Bear to Fallout to see what I mean.
