Actually, this reminds me. I have the D&D card game: Inn Fighting, or something like that. I have only played it once or twice and it's simple enough. I actually bought that before the Player's Handbook... I am still figuring out why.

If no ones mentioned them yet, you HAVE to play Betrayal at House on the Hill and The Resistance! Me and my friends adore them. One is a game where you explore a creepy mansion andd then half way through, one player gets to betray the others. The other os a lying game in which you're a member of a sci fi resistance group and you have to carry out missions, all the while truing to figure out who among you is a spy for the Capitol. Both are really fun, although the resistance destroys friendships and requires long cuddle/recuperation sessions in between games.

Both are really fun, although the resistance destroys friendships. The only board games worth playing! Those sound great, I'm going to have to look into them. I have a board game up somewhere called "Dread Pirate" it's really good and the board and pieces look awesome. Plus, it comes in a chest.

Ok, I love board games, here is my current list of boardgames I own, to put a list of games I want would be a waste of everyone time because that list is really really long.
Pit Bakong Blokus Cards Against Humanity Dungeon Dice Munchkin Pandemic Splendor Settlers of Catan Spacefarers of Catan Lagoon Land of Druids Samurai Spirit One Night Ultimate Werewolf Forbiddin Desert Entropy (kickstarter) Bring Your Own book (kickstarter) Smash Up Smash Up Awesome Level 9000 Smash Up Obligatory Cthullu Set Smash Up Science Fiction Double Feature Smash Up Monster Smash Smash Up Pretty Pretty Princess Smash Up The Big Geeky Box Smash Up Munchkin
So there is my list, got a few more kickstarter games but they havent been shipped yet. If I could suggest any game it would most certainly be Smash Up. It is a simple shuffle building game where each player shuffles two factions together to form their deck of 40 cards. Every faction has 20 cards with some distribution combination of minion cards and action cards, you then use the cards to add power to base cards, think of those as a battlefield location. Once there is enough power at a base it "breaks" and victory points are awarded. Between all the expansions there are 37 factions which can combine to form 666 unique pairs of faction. So needless to say it offers some awesome replayability and for a game with that many faction and strategies it is very very well balanced. The faction are things like pirates, ghosts, elder things, time travelers, giant ants, princesses, dwarves, clerics, zombies, mad scientists. It is very fun and I honestly think every person should own a copy. Seriously, buy it. now, get up leave your computer or phone and go buy the base game. You will not regret it. If you want info or a small review on any other game i own let me know and I will post one.

I've got Cards Against Humanity which is awesome!
While I don't really have many board games I have a few card game
CAH (as previously mentioned) Gloom (Original, Chthulu, Fairy Tale) Fluxx (Original, Chthulu)
Gloom is an awesome game where you (and the other players) have a family of 3-5 people (depending on how long you want the game to be), you take turns Making your characters unhappy, other player's character happy, and killing them off. Each modifier card have up to 3 modifiers and a little description, from the description you tell a couple of sentences explaining what happened to them to make them miserable/happy (Trapped on a Train, Beaten by beggars, was Chased by Chickens, Wonderfully Well Wed, found love on a lake) and then you kill them off with equally amusing description (Drowned in a Bod, Ran out of Air, Died Without Cares, Was Devoured by Weasels).
Fluxx is equally a fantastic game, you start off with the rules 'Draw one, Play one' and as you take your turns you can change the base rules to draw/play more cards, the game starts off with no goal but as soon as someone plays one you can try and work towards it, or plan out to place your own goal. The goal are based around having particular 'keeper' cards in front of you and it can change at any time, hands can be swapped or stolen, and it's just a really fun game for all ages. There is also a bunch of different versions of it, Zombie Fluxx, Star Fluxx, Monty Python Fluxx, you'll find something for everyone's interests here.

Got a game called Samurai a couple of weeks ago. It is a great strategy game for up to 4 friends where you try and monopolize the resources of Japan to become the Shogun.

Big board gamer here. A lot of good ones mentioned so far. Dominion, 7 Wonders, Agricola, Pandemic, Dear of Winter are all really great games.
I'd add Puerto Rico, Carcassonne, and El Grande as fantastic worker placement games.
Ticket to Ride is a pretty good gateway into designer board games, if you're looking to get into it, utilizing the art collection mechanic.
I got Star Wars: Imperial Assault and Forbidden Desert for Christmas, although I didn't ask for either, so I can't comment on their quality. I also recently picked up Through the Ages, but haven't yet played it.
The two games at the top of my list are Pandemic: Legacy (co-op multi-session) and Battlestar Galactica (find the traitor).

When you play forbidden desert for the first time. Pullout a phone or laptop and play this while playing the game. Takes it to a whole new level. youtu.be/OO7kW_-u2y0Good luck not dying of dehydration.
