* keep in mind this is a placeholder name, may be subject to change, as is the map which may get some additions
The only known Continent in Liro is currently Ydallir (the map) which conists of 3 major settlements; Aquila, Ilgerd and Suur / The Scorchlands.
Aquila is a more fertile land than the others, almost sinisterly so as some growth seems to be sentient and some of the wildlife has been affected. In spite of this there are minor settlements around the region though the major settlements is the capital of which the country is named, ( Aquila) and a Minor village that lies near the ruins of a old keep on the borderlands. Aquila is more varied in terms of population as most of the common races can be found there; Humans, gnomes, halflings, elves, and some Dwarven clans (If you can find them)
Ilgerd is far to the north and is covered mostly by a barren tundra, But hotsprings has made some parts into farmable lands Most of which is encased in a gigantic wall that seems near impenetrable. Ilgerd is mostly populated by Dwarves, Goliaths and gnomes, though there are Humans and Dragonborn there as well. Their doctrine follows on the lines of Honour for themselves and their ancestors, and those who are considered strong; be that through the brute force of the blade, the cunning eye of the bow or the mystical arts of magic; are always welcomed here.
Suur / The scorchlands is the southern region and is mostly a sandy region with oasises spread far between. The biggest oasis has been made into the capital Maji; or great oasis, for those wandering these sunstruck lands. Suur is inhabited mostly by Humans, though more and more "Suncursed"(Tieflings) pop up.
The other regions of the map has not been explored in quite some time as it is riddled with danger ever since the enroachment started.
________________ I will start the players in Aquila.

Great map! It is really good. I also love the background so far on the different settlements. I enjoy the Tieflings (err, suncursed) and that they are region specific (indeed, I want to know what secrets lie in the Scorchlands. Great lore!

The truth about the map is that it all started from a cup of hot chocolate whose foam just formed the perfect shape. and then inkarnate I have to admit that the lore got kinda made while I was at work tonight, ( while listening to lord of the rings soundtrack) Currently working on handdrawing the map of Aquila, though i've already made enough progress to write a little bit about the city. though I only just started on writing that down (damned work, actually making me have to work) so will do more about that tonight

Froh! Buddy! That is a great start you have going for your setting man. To me and what I am hearing, this sounds like a solid foundation and an early point in your history/lore for the setting. I love early points in history and time where things are starting to form and come together in the grand-scheme of things. It gives you tons of wiggle room for players and just overall continued improvement/development. Keep up the good work man!
And remember, BABY STEPS! Don't force anything, let it come to you. Even if it TAKES YEARS to finish the setting you'll be better off for letting the ideas come to you rather than forcing it!
Just my 2cents, and praise. GJ bud!
