I went with Creation and Inspiration as well because it is always good to have more ideas kicking around in my head to havea t the ready to counter whatever craziness my players come up with.
In terms of supplements for 5E I would tend to agree with DMC that they won't try and get crazy with rules based books, but instead release a lot more adventures than in previous editions. Given that the supplements will likely take on the optional moniker (akin to 2E books) they will need to be very well done to make this edition stand the test of time. I'm hoping for some of the old school campaign settings (Eberron, Ravenloft, Spelljammer, etc) to see what they look like with a modern take on them.

What I like is how WOTC is putting out free rules .PDFs instead of making us buy the entire Adventure Setting book. For example, the upcoming Princes of the Apocalypse/Elemental Evil adventure, you can buy the adventure and run the game, or you can just download the .PDF that will have the new classes/races/feats/items, etc.

I would like to see more race and class based books come out more than any thing, ill home brew monsters and such all day but i like my players to have a sea of options open to them. That being said I am already home brewing new playable races and classes that I will post on this forum as soon as they are play tested and ready to go

I've gathered, from things I've read, that WotC's plan is to release adventure content that contains new classes, races, items, etc.
That being said, the entire community seems to be clamoring for for 5e reboots of older systems (meaning campaign settings). WotC has had a decent track record with 5e on listening to their players and fan base, so hopefully these cries will not fall on deaf ears.
I would not expect to see the type of supplemental books (such as The Players Handbook II, The Complete Fighter, or the Complete Divine) that were legion in 3.5. I think they burned out on that model, and really, it wasn't a great model any way. A lot of those books had redundant or broken content in them.

They also made clear that the Eberron PDF was a beta release; not final material, thus subject to changes. I like that they put stuff like that out though. Shows and interest in player reactions, lets us all know where their heads are, and gives homebrewers a base to stand on.

Absolutely. I hope to see more releases like this in the future.
I think what most people are clamoring for is just SOME sort of idea on what will be released, and how often. They don't like the silence. Even if it's something like "Two adventures a year, and 4 mechanics .PDFs."

The vibe I feel like I have been interpreting is that there will be modular additions which in theory seems like a great idea. That way if you want eastern flavor the book that gives you that goes full bore into the concept. Then you toss in some vikings and ninjas and cowboys and make a comic book! I really hope that we don't see (corebookname) II - VII or at least not any time soon.

Agreed. If you want (insert campaign setting stuff here), but don't want the campaign itself, here's a free .PDF.
I do hope, however, that in a year or two, they compile these .PDFs into a book. I'd rather have that eventually, than loose pages floating around in a binder. But that too isn't necessary for me.
