Merryn learnt the trade of acting whilst in the Bards College I really like the idea of your character, I have always wanted to play as a Doppelgänger. His previous job experience is just plain awesome. He also gave me a great idea for a NPC. My idea is: a doppelgänger who is the worst possible actor. Everybody knows when it is the poor failure of a doppelgänger pretending to be somebody.

To perfect the accent and body-language mannerism of his/her target, he will keep the target under wrap while torturing / observing how the target talks and reacts when under pressure (aka torture) all the while mimicking the targets tone of voice and appearance more and more.

Name (Nickname) : Karumak the Fallen (formerly Karumak the Hunter) Preferred Job Responsibilities: scouting, dispatching enemies quietly Qualifications/Career Accomplishments : "I have done nothing of which I am proud. My life is only sadness and dishonor." Organizations Currently/Previously Affiliated With : Having worked briefly with Fighter's Guilds shortly after striking out on his own, Kuramak had a difficult time cooperating and taking direction. He prefers jobs that lend themselves to quiet isolation so he has time to think. Education : Karumak was once the most celebrated and accomplished hunter in the Skullclaw Orc tribe, having learned how to track prey from the clan's chieftan. Price for Hire: "You will decide what you think my skills are worth. I suggest you choose a reward that I agree is fair." Tagline?: "..." Worst Job Experience: Karumak fled his tribe after he was wrongfully accused of negligence that resulted in the death of his youngest brother, Thadak, when a neighboring clan attacked without warning while he was out on a bear hunt. Karumak had been counted upon to discover and relay the whereabouts of nearby tribes, and to constantly be aware of all movements within the Skullclaw's borders. He spent years searching for information about the incident until he discovered that it the chieftan himself colluded with the nearby human city leaders to stir up conflict between the five local orc clans. The humans culled the orc population and the chieftan received mounds of gold. Killing the chieftan was easier than Karumak expected, and far less satisfying than he had hoped. Best Job Experience: Several years ago Karumak took a job to track down an old monk, lost for decades, for a large temple in the city of Whiteriver. The task required spending nearly a month traversing the ridge of a mountain range at over 15,000 ft. Eventually, Karumak found the monk living in a tent in the middle of the woods. He had spent so long on top of the mountain amidst the birds and wolves that he had forgotten about his life before he became a hermit. The reunion with his protege, who was now the head priest at the temple in Whiteriver, was moving as the memories of his former life returned to the monk.

I already sympathize with Karumak and the part with the chieftain was particularly good! Great Character!

Love the story for Karumak, and think he would be a great Hero for Hire!

Surprisingly, I found it while looking for a polo with a small D&D logo on it. Came across a t-shirt with that printed on it: www.pegasuspublishing.com/Hero-For-Hire-Shirt-p-26605.html

Name (Nickname): Klarkash Ton. (The Bone Collector) Preferred job responsibilities: Researcher, acquisition of ancient lore, illusionist. Qualifications/Career Accomplishments: I have been a researcher for many esteemed and interesting places of learning. I trained under the grand librarian Wardilove Howecraft. I've "rediscovered" the ancient books of Arlana Tumal, Kinose Libre, Neomoni Coniforum, and the Seven Scrolls of Rashnarenk. Organizations Currently/Previously Affiliated With: I used to be a member of the Morgane University but after discovering the existence of a certain ELDER GOD i could no longer lecture. After that i joined a guild of "merchants" who shall remain nameless and i discovered a fascination in the skulls and femur bones of humanoids i fought. So currently i sell bone meal and write books of my connection with Meir'znaz Kollsk'ah. Education: As a researcher i was trained in the Halls of Dumalan University and of course the librarian training under Wardilove Howecraft. More recently I've learned the ways of the warlock from my connection with Meir'znaz Kollsk'ah. Price for Hire: 7 Femur bones, three of exactly the same length and four of completely different lengths, and two skulls. Or 250gp a day. Tagline: Knowledge isn't good or evil, is mine. Best or Worst Job Experience?: Best experience was the time i solved a transindentalist derivation of the Klomthine equation of the redistribution of the planar skein in the temple of the Nine Storms in order to stop the trap about to squeeze me dead. Worst experience was the time i made contact with Meir'znaz Kollsk'ah destroying the speech centers of my brain but granting me the ability to speak into people's minds. This is why i haven't said anything and have just been silently writing here cause i don't want to startle my interviewer. dungeonsandtulu.wordpress.com/

Name: Caeci Venator Preferred Job Responsibilities: Escort, tracking, message delivery. Qualifications/Career Accomplishments: I am an accomplished hunter/tracker/adventurer of many years, I have traveled all across the land and sea with my companion and I will not let my 'condition' stop me from traveling or working. I have taken down many encampments of Orcs, Goblins and many other races with little to no help from others. The thanks of Kings and Queens, Merchants and the common person that I have accumulated over my years could fill numerous tomes. Organizations Currently/Previously Affiliated With: I have been living in solitude for the past couple of years so I currently have no affiliations. Education: I have the education that would be presumed of an adult coming from a large city, the city life was not for me and since then I have been mentored by many. I am also self taught on many subjects relating to nature where I feel at home. Price for Hire: Every job is different, what you need, who you are, these things and more go into calculating your price. You need something done, I can do it, I'm sure we can negotiate something beneficial to both of us. Tagline: I no longer fear the world I cannot see. Worst Job Experience?: My last job before going into solitude for the past couple of years could be noted as my worst, I lost my sight in a battle with a mage, I can still smell his sent in my nose and if I ever find him I will rip his throat out with my own teeth.

O.k ill give this a go the hardest part was choosing a theme for the picture XD Name: Hildr Sigrun ( Nickname: Pathmaker, wind warden) Preferred Job Responsibilities: Scouting out the paths ahead of the group, especially in mountains/snow regions - she has a knack for finding the hidden paths and trails through the snow lands. She will also happily hold the attention of the strongest foe she can find! Also...She will also cook...but she only makes thick stews and meats that somehow always taste burned -your also quiet certain it was cooked correctly too. Qualifications/Career Accomplishments:Has travelled the paths of the Ever Drift (as she calls it, a region of mountains where it never stops snowing) since she was small, she will almost always know where she is at any point within that region from the flat lands below to the highest peak where there is only thick fog of clouds. She's known to have slain many foes for the local clans and towns, great bears and wolf packs, the great beast of cavern-top (A Behemoth with a taste for livestock) and the flushing out of a Dark one's encroachment but her two greatest achievement's are perhaps the defeat of a great Balor demon (although she swears up and down it was barely breathing when she took it's head as seen above in the image) and the taming of the Trail Wind (a very large and moody owlbear) that roams the paths when she cannot. Organizations Currently/Previously Affiliated With:Aids the local towns and clans but beyond that no real affiliation past a tanked of mead and coin from the occasional client. Education:HA! haha! hahahahahaa! (she's completely self taught and knows how to count coin but that's about it). Price for Hire:Depends what you will be needing of her. Guide through the mountain paths? 5 gold and you carry her food supplies for there AND back. Hunting a beasty? 10 gold, unless she gets the killing blow and takes a trophy in which case 5. further services? Will depend on the time but a few gold a day and strong ale will keep her entertained...for a time, also bring potions of healing or a good healer, she likes to brake things...mostly people or with other people. Tagline: Come at me then or are ya scared of a wee girl! Best Job Experience:She had been tracking down a creature that had slain several of the local clansmen, for three nights she watched and waited and followed half forgotten tracks in the thick ever falling snow until she came across an old ruined fort tower. Within she found an aged vampire who was desperately trying to survive, it of course attempted to consume her, He found her axe had similar tastes, she took the tower as her own domain when she was not frequenting the paths and local taverns. Worst Job Experience:Whilst tracking the Trail Wind she took rest within a cavern not even an hour into her slumber before she was awoken by gibberish chattering, she followed the noise carefully and found a large band of Dark Ones within the deeper parts of the cavern and a fissure within a far wall glowing with a cold pale light as a few more slipped through - not knowing these odd creatures and seeing that they were well equipped for raiding she took the initiative and found that they fell quiet easily before her even when they got there act together, the rest fled and she destroyed the pendant that held the gate open, all would have been well and good...if they had not woken the Dire-Bear pack within the cavern... Extra! Item's of interest:Axe of Kranz - actually a glaive with an axe like head, it seems to grow more powerful the more blood it 'drinks' - A Punishing type magic weapon. Hide of Tern - a thick hide of some beast although she wears little the hide keeps her perfectly warm in all climates and acts as banded mail (heavy) -A wintersnap armour type. Astral broach - a small compass that does not point north but in actual fact foretells the movements of the astral winds, she simply thinks it is broken, it is also a family heirloom so she is reluctant to part from it. - just a bit of fun.

Name: Excellence Arlana (Nickname: Arlana , the Terror of Karmesh, That jerk that blew me up, idiot) Preferred Job Responsibilities: Blowin' stuff up. Excellence is cocky and likes blowing stuff up and high energy combat missions. She HATES escort missions or desk work unless for some reason there's a huge monster involved. Qualifications/Career Accomplishments: She was born in a town called Karmesh where she learned to use her sorcerer powers and began blowing stuff up. She was an orphan and so had no parents to discipline her. By the time she was sixteen, she'd been in and out of jail many times - never leaving jail legally. She was declared a threat to public safety because she enjoyed destroying things so much and although she did defend the town from a few monsters, the collateral damage was too great. She's banned from the city. Along with a few other odd mercenary jobs here and there, these actions serve as a resume. She's a risky investment but she gets the job done. Organizations Currently/Previously Affiliated With: Several odd jobs for different employers. Looking to join a guild/get steady pay. Education: Street smarts, bruh. And blowing up stuff. Price for Hire: As much as she can possibly get out of someone. She'll list a ridiculous price and then if the person says no, she insists she was joking and asks what they think she should be paid then ask for more than that. Tagline: "BOOM! HA HA HA, YEAH! TAKE THAT, YA DUMB BANDITS!" (or something very similar) "Meh, who cares? It's just a little shack!" Best Job Experience: Got payed to clear out and destroy an old haunted building. The Cleric she was working with was not happy but she had the time of her life blowing up ghosts and building alike. Worst Job Experience: Accidentally blew up the employer's wagon with his pet bird caged inside while fighting a group of giant rats. Did not end well.
